This part was definitely the hardest. It took me like 80 billion years. For a kids game, this boss was hard.
I love how in the game fairy godmother accepts that she can be beaten before disappearing, whereas in the film she’s the opposite and is about to cast another spell before exploding.
Especially as in my opinion shes more of a menace in the game than film.
I'll never forget that mirror, in the space of 10 seconds, making me question my life decisions at the ripe old age of 5 😂
Honestly loved this game, had such a happy vibe to it.. kind of miss the innocence of a time without social media and the stresses of adult life but I'll never forget this game as it was bought for me by my siblings because I broke my collar bone (clumsy child.. hey-ho), that kindness has never left me 💚

You know, in the movie Shrek 2, Shrek and Fiona didn’t kiss and they turn back to ogres. But in the game however, they do kiss and if we remember what the potion does. If you want to stay human forever. You and your partner must given each other true love kiss if you both want to stay human permanently.

No, they kissed after the clock hit the number 12, because of this they turned back in ogre form
I feel that this battle is just a little too brutal. It's a huge difficulty spike, and nothing else in the game comes remotely close to being as challenging. I realize it's the final boss, but checkpoints would have really helped ease the tedium of having to replaying it from the beginning multiple times. Still, Shrek 2 is a great game, especially with 2-4 players.

When I finish this game as a little kid it was like midnight and I was pissed cause I couldn't go out and play like the magic mirror said at the end lol

In the game donkey was happy turning back to normal but in the movie he was disappointed turning back to normal because of that shrek told him the he's looks like a steed to him to make him feel better about turning back to normal

i played this when i was 5 and it was soo hard
in the level Shrek and Fiona look like they are kissing. I thought if Shrek and Fiona kissed they would turn into a human forever.
Joe DeBlasio they were supposed to kiss while they're still human so that they can stay that way forever. The kiss at the end was already after the clock struck 12, which the potion stopped working.

Sad story :when i was little i used to play shrek with my sister but we didn’t have a flash memory so we couldn’t turn off the ps2 we used to woke up super early and start playing until 12am because my dad won’t let us , and we played it every day and once we get to this part it’s 12am time to sleep😭 we had a karaté class and one of us should stay at home just to play ... finally we bought the flash memory and guess what the cd was scratched and we couldn’t play anymore 😭😭😭 we searched for another one but we couldn’t find any the third version was already out and this version was gone for good so here i am at 23 yo finding out the end 💔

Funniest level ever. I remember how much fun and laughter I had playing this. Especially when you get to Troll Fan and all those bombs are everywhere exploding and everyone ends up dying. The thing that kept getting me was when Fairy Godmother the those red glowing balls is fuzz that follows you everywhere you go. The only one that can truly help with that is Puss in my opinion.

I watched my brother do this boss fight when I was little but I never could get past the third level far far away when I was little.

It is so werid that Fiona is only a human for 10 seconds in the game in the movie Fiona was a human for 20 minutes.
But Fiona is human for a lot of time in the game too, the problem is that we only see her in the last 10 secs
But yeah she should stay human during the battle and turn ogre only after the battle
