I have empathy on the studying; I'm back to uni this term after a 28 year hiatus since my masters (yup, I'm that old!). I'm currently taking a break with your vid after ten hours of work so far today. Now the Starbucks lattes in the fridge downstairs are calling loudly. I'm totally impressed with your work ethic, and it's putting my minor panic over a 2000 word assignment due at the start of March into context. Those essay thoughts intruding on sleep? Grab a post-it or a notebook and write them down, then get sleeping. Once you have it captured, you can rest. Hope it all went well for you.

So I graduated from NYU with an Econ degree 9 years ago. 11:55 The way you described those “peak conflict” moments was sooo accurate. Trust me though: when you look back, you will never regret it!!

@Aphrodite how's it going? so I went into state government and ended up eventually doing a Ph.D., however I've always leaned more toward the Policy end than the Quant end. You can go into academia, or with a little bit of specialization (especially at NYU), you can do a crossover with Finance. A friend of mine who I took classes with got hired at Blackrock straight out of college, so it just depends on what you want (and your tolerance levels for all kinds of things). You can also do what Bridge does, which looks pretty sick too!

I have a very difficult exam in five months, and every day is an exam day for me, staying home and studying is very hard work, and it is repeated so many times that sometimes I want to tell the days to wait, I need stop.
And I hope to get out of the cycle of repetition sooner and start a new story.

yes nyu does have a medical school! i think most people in undergrad do the premed track first, but I think the total duration of medical school is normally around 4 years?? i'm not too sure tho!
