  • Making a journey on board a Line T1 tram from Mestre Centro to Venezia.
In this video, we travel from the centre of Mestre to Venice crossing the iconic Liberty Bridge (Ponte Della Liberta). The bridge provides the only road and rail connection between the city of Venice and mainland Italy and is 2.4 miles long.

Can you imagine working on that tram as either a conductor or the engineer and having to hear that infernal whining noise hour after hour? It's enough to make you want to quit your job. I'm sure that there are trams that are built with much more soundproofing than this one.

I believe that I bought them from a kiosk close to a tram stop but I think you can also buy tickets in a tobacco shop, a common theme in continental Europe.
      Ticket prices:
      Single: 7.50 Euros
      24 Hour: 20 Euros
      48 Hour: 30 Euros
      72 Hour: 40 Euros
      7 Days: 60 Euros
      Hope this helps.
