Man, i remember sleepin outside. I spent three and a half years homeless and man it seemed like id die like that, but shit changed for me. I got lucky, and since then ive had a kid, got married and got a place but shit man..it sometimes doesnt feel like that mental change has fully happened. Nowadays I'm not rich by any means but I do run my own merchandise store online and work construction, and I tell my kids not to ever make fun of a homeless person or the poor because dear old dad has been both and you don't know their struggle.
