Having flown in many a helicopter during my 40 plus years in HOLLYWOOD, and having known of the legendary Jack Harter, I'm thrilled to say that this May, my wife and I will be booking a ride on the BEST aerial tour operator in Kauai... Great aerial photography combined with great flying, and having worked on TV's AIRWOLF, BLUE THUNDER and so many other iconic helicopter projects with the likes of James Gavin, David Jone and Frank Tallman, I was so grateful to have been part of that wonderful era before DRONES took over. To think they can fly even more stable and without any danger, and fly so very cheaply compared to what a HOLLYWOOD aerial crew would cost, $4,000 an hour in the 1980's... just WOW! The NaPali coast is one of the most difficult, dangerous and unpredictable areas to fly over in the whole world... that sudden killer fog that just appears out of nowhere has challenged many a seasoned pilot, and having flown through the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley in many a Bell Jet Ranger, even the classic Bell 47, I'm certainly looking forward to this exciting ride! Great presentation guys, and I know being the first and the best to operate choppers in Kauai, an island with very competitive and crowded skys, it's good that Jack's legacy of skill and safety is continued on...
