Meenakshi for me also reminds me of how fishes eyes never close even when they are asleep. It's like her gaze is that of a fish her eyes are always open but her single sideways glance on us is like gaining a kamadhenu or kalpavriksha.

I think you may know the parrot in Meenakshi's shoulder is not apart of the vigraham.It is an attachment daily kept during alankaram.
The parrot in the Vigraham is present only in Sivakami Vigraham at Chidambaram .

I wanted to understand what is the significance of the Parrot 🦜 that and how is it associated with Goddess Kamakshi, Meenakshi and Vishalaakshi.
I think the parrot is called Shuka. Its a swarupam of the god of archery. [I may be wrong and have answered to the best of my ability... please forgive and teach me if i am wrong]
