Mentor says he blames himself for the downfall of man who killed Nassau County deputy

Patrick McDowell’s defense continued to call witnesses Monday from its list of dozens who are testifying on behalf of the man who admitted to fatally shooting Nassau County Deputy Joshua Moyers during a 2021 traffic stop.

You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make them drink. You did your best with what you had to work with. The man wanted to be be a criminal, thug and muderer and drug addict. He said to that girl I’m gonna take him out because I’m not going to jail.
