Wrangler is chasing Bronco and the update was not enough to catch up. I wish the 3.0 hurricane was already in it even though that engine is only supposed to replace the hemi. Maybe there is an inline 5 2.5 liter that will replace the pentastar v6? Stellantis is way behind Ford and Chevy in the drivetrain department.

The 2.7 in the bronco with the 4.7 final drive is quite snappy. I optioned mine with a locking rear diff and that upgraded it to the 4.7 final drive. Compared to the Mustangs its quite slow but for being a 2 door SUV its pretty snappy

Yep! 2 door broncos win in the powertrain department every time compared to the 2 door JL

for now diesel only available for gladiator models. its so heart-breaking.

392 manual when? if anyone has a pedigree in doing "weird" stuff its the mopar family.
really it's every mfg. like the diesels, they could have slapped a 4bt cummins and a 6 speed and I guarantee they could never keep up with demand.
