@MindfullyTrading I looked on their FAQ on who can join the 5ers, and their last article update was on 2/7/24 and it doesn’t say anything about them not accepting US clients.

Seems like it's getting tougher out there for traders.
How long do you think it would take for them to return to service?

what prop firms can be traded with us? you seem like the right one to ask. I have been researching one after another thats gone. trying to trade gold and my usuals are so long winded with not facts expect swaggy c
I think it is more to do with the SEC clamping down on the marketing of CFDs to US clients (CFDs are banned in the US); it is easier to do this by putting pressure on Metaquotes to stop supplying the platform (to brokers that support prop firms marketing to US clients) than it is to chase down 100's of unregulated offshore prop firms directly. The fact that the CFD accounts were largely synthetic via sims may have been a loophole...one that the authorities are now seeking to close.
As someone said above - there could be a move now to offer futures accounts via Ninja, as some prop firms do, although relatively few at the moment compared to forex based firms.

Ftmo just been pulled from mq as well. Prop firms been exposed for the underhand tactics that don't abide to regulations and now they all paying the ultimate price. Anyone crying about it needs to realise that for every 100k funded it only represented 8-12k on a personal account so man up and grind your personal accounts
Any idea of props that allow daily drawdowns not fixed to initial balance? Either they have daily drawdown fixed at 5% of initial balance (ftmo) or they have low leverage...real trading does not even work like that for successful traders. All these prop firms seem to be dodgy ethically ngl.

I checked their FAQ and it doesn’t say anything about US clients.
If propfirm doesn't accept clients from the US, won't MQ automatically ban propfirm from using their mt4/mt5, or is there another problem???
Ctrader is much better than MQ, every prop firm is shifting to Ctrader
@@afridi7873 I think this is a regulatory issue not a platform one. In any case according to cTrader's website:
"The services provided by Spotware Systems Ltd. are not available to citizens or residents of the USA."

This is why people should trade futures the forex scene is so scammy with these offshore brokers and prop firms. The US is just cleaning up all the shadiness going on with these prop firms and brokers

they are not gone their in the process of switching to different platforms.. within a week their back, same thing that happened to them might happen to 5ersi have accounts with both..its annoying time to open some futures props
All these platforms will be targeted by US regulators. cTrader isn't Live for US and DXTrades is already looking to restrict US traders.
Why is it that only U.S customers are affected and not British or overseas customers?🤔
US is king of capitalism. They want to track those funds to tax them and its hard to do so with a foreign prop firm.

It is probably the CFD issue. It is illegal for US citizens to trade CFDs. CFDs can be hedged. CFDs are offered through all of these FX prop shops. You can be both long and short in the same CFD instrument. You cannot be both long and short with futures contracts. As a US Citizen being able to hedge (both long and short) is awesome but it is illegal for US citizens as are CFDs (unregulated).
I have accounts with both FE and fundingpips honestly i am just angry.
