Was that chatter I was hearing at the end a bent driveshaft or diff? With some of them hits I'm thinking shaft? That 5 flipper was just stupid brother 😜🚀🚀😱. LP Backflips are my favorite on my Noto. Much prefer them over the standard, heavier Backflips. Great show and that truck is a wild animal! Still haven't picked up the M2C shock fix yet but next on my list.

Sucks about the servo! I have a few and have been very happy with it. Basically the same manufacturer as your 23kg - I wonder if the weaker servi allows flex instead of fighting it?
Tough luck on the servo.... Did you put anything under it? I don't send it like you but I use a small piece of yoga mat taped under the servo... Maybe that helps? "don't know how many flips that was"..... Was 5 dude!..... Insane! I gotta ask because it looks so crazy how you land those 4-5 rotation huge back flips, on some of them are you just hucking it and hope you land wheels up? Or are you tracking all them rotations and calculating the distance to the landing to stop/space your rotation?? If you are doing either its crazy skill, but the split second stop of rotation before she lands... Crazy! Is it just a "I know how many spins I can pull because of hang time" because you are so comfortable with the characteristics of the truck and air time.... You just know?? Appreciate your insight Them high speed tumbler wild flips.... Look so fun.... Bet the non Outcast body helps so it don't get in the way. Maybe a had a lemon!😂I've lost several servos in the past off that hill jump bc the gravel landing are so hard! As far as the flips, they are all done by controlled throttle blips or full peg of throttle for constant flips. Timing is everything on the landing! Have to come out of the last rotation just in time to tap the break and bring the nose down for a landing! I've got them on my Kraton and I've been kicking the shit out of the poor thing all week and broke nothing but snapped 2 screws inside the wing mount 🤣 Haven't had to straighten my towers it's a bloody miracle. Mate and they're still intact! I was doubtful of their strength and thought their rigidity would make them weak but it doesn't seem to be the case bro. 5mm thick and light as a feature. Your truck is f***ing awesome bro 🥰 love it man 🙂👍👊👊✌

I have a typhon that is stock. I now have a 2nd blx185 ESC die on me within a month. Stock pinion (not speed gear), 2 x Reaction2 5000mAh 50C 3S Lipo. I run it on a dirt track and a ramp that's approximately 8" high. What ESC would you suggest for bashing?

One trick i found is to put old chewed pinions on the end of the sway bar n it wont slip off anymore.i think losi(i dont recall what car) has a pretty good swaybar set up i dont see why it couldnt be put on

Honestly stock motor is good in an Outcast imo! I'm running a 1730kv 4092 size in this rig and its hard af to control and hold power down! Perfect motor for a Kraton though!👌 Parts of this rig used to be my V2 Kraton.🤣There is lots of motor options out there but I'd say stay around the 1800-2000kv range and around 4074 size can. The Max8 combo is a sweet pair but 2200kv motor can get toasty if overgeared! Good luck with her bro sounds like a fun build!😎👊💪🤘🤘

How long do you think you get out of the diffs , even didnt just have bad luck, so far for me I had ones last not shimmied and also shimmied my outcast lasted almost a year alot of runs so I coughed up to wear tear the Kraton was great till it was beat up I fix it up tune shim but just kept stripping the same 2 teeth over over even hardened ones . Finally I completely rebuilt the car pretty much everything new except chassis and been good so far . I did go back to lighter diff fluid . I thinking it was the diff case but shimmied like you said usually have good luck rich told me look hairline crack nothing idk lol dam quarantine my typhon sitting on shelf at lhs it's the v3 tho I do like the v4 katars better but nbd atleast have tactic and I'm getting for 100 cheaper 😝💯👍
Usually my diffs running in HR cases last. Havent had an issue in a couple years. Just normal wear then I may add an additional shim. This rig has plastic cases although they are older diffs, the plastic does get warm and expand causing potential diff failure. Probably all the standing backflips in my last vid with it plus this run did something in!😜Sucks on the quarantine man...may be coming for us soon!👀Take it easy bro!😎👊

I seen LP’s at Jennys and I held back. I spent enough to get my rig up and running that was all. No extra’s for me. Not now anyway. One q for ya there is different thickness oils in the stock 6 s Diffs. Will I be able to seee a difference and know which one goes on the front and rear. Mine are coming from Jenny’s I just thought of that. The one thing I do not have is diff fluids
I have this written down from the manual, it doesn't list centre diff but I use 100k and its fine ARRMA Typhon: 7K CST Front/Rear Differential Oil 550cst Shock Oil (45wt = 575cst aka close enough)

I'm not positive that these wheels will work with a Typhon Mega..maybe a 2.8 option like Proline 2.8 Trenchers should work. I used those in my 3s Typhon with no problem. Direct fit!😎👊

Yes the outer shim? I'd definitely add another!👌I run 2 shims per front and rear and hardly have diff issues. Gives the ring/pinion a tighter mesh. I did have trouble at the end of this vid simply bc the diff was like 3 years old and was lacking maintenance!🤣

I think it was Voltage Hobbies towers. Basherqueen makes tough Carbon Fiber towers. Super light!😎👊

I think it was the rear diff...had a bit of wear on the ring gear from too many standing backflips!🤣These were old diffs and since been rebuilt.

One trick i found is to put old chewed pinions on the end of the sway bar n it wont slip off anymore.i think losi(i dont recall what car) has a pretty good swaybar set up i dont see why it couldnt be put on

Yes it has Typhon body mounds. Had to modify the rear just a tad to line the posts up but it works!😎

Honestly stock motor is good in an Outcast imo! I'm running a 1730kv 4092 size in this rig and its hard af to control and hold power down! Perfect motor for a Kraton though!👌 Parts of this rig used to be my V2 Kraton.🤣There is lots of motor options out there but I'd say stay around the 1800-2000kv range and around 4074 size can. The Max8 combo is a sweet pair but 2200kv motor can get toasty if overgeared! Good luck with her bro sounds like a fun build!😎👊💪🤘🤘

How long do you think you get out of the diffs , even didnt just have bad luck, so far for me I had ones last not shimmied and also shimmied my outcast lasted almost a year alot of runs so I coughed up to wear tear the Kraton was great till it was beat up I fix it up tune shim but just kept stripping the same 2 teeth over over even hardened ones . Finally I completely rebuilt the car pretty much everything new except chassis and been good so far . I did go back to lighter diff fluid . I thinking it was the diff case but shimmied like you said usually have good luck rich told me look hairline crack nothing idk lol dam quarantine my typhon sitting on shelf at lhs it's the v3 tho I do like the v4 katars better but nbd atleast have tactic and I'm getting for 100 cheaper 😝💯👍
Usually my diffs running in HR cases last. Havent had an issue in a couple years. Just normal wear then I may add an additional shim. This rig has plastic cases although they are older diffs, the plastic does get warm and expand causing potential diff failure. Probably all the standing backflips in my last vid with it plus this run did something in!😜Sucks on the quarantine man...may be coming for us soon!👀Take it easy bro!😎👊

Thanks!😁Running 60k, 500k, 30k diffs. 20 tooth pinion with the 1730kv 4092. She a handful with that setup!😜Went down to 100k center and much more pleasurable to drive!

Basically yes. Thicker center and front will give it easier back flipping abilities and help stop front diff unloading.

I'm not positive that these wheels will work with a Typhon Mega..maybe a 2.8 option like Proline 2.8 Trenchers should work. I used those in my 3s Typhon with no problem. Direct fit!😎👊

Yes the outer shim? I'd definitely add another!👌I run 2 shims per front and rear and hardly have diff issues. Gives the ring/pinion a tighter mesh. I did have trouble at the end of this vid simply bc the diff was like 3 years old and was lacking maintenance!🤣
