We play Third tecnic for Avarohana ,
Arohana is the same tecnic as you playing
Around 60 years back ,I got trained like this from my Guru ,who had graduated from Annamali university,
Our Guru was the immediate junior to THE VETERANS ,Musicians great Shrimathi Radha And Shrimathi Jayalakshmi .who were in The list of great musians
,i did my senior exam in the year 1969,
I was unable to continue my further education in those years
But still I play whatever There in my memories

Why lifting the fingure ? Keep the middle fingure on the string, without lifting the fingure, strike the string twice.
Is it not simple and produce the same swara twice.?
