I struggle so much with trying to figure out what path to take. I have tried so many different things and other people always say why didn't you stick with this or that you're amazing at it. I'm also a professional astrologer and I'm constantly trying to combat the negative notion that our sun is the soul, and that the ascendant/rising is merely a mask. Whomever started that trope has truly setback astrology, so it's up to people like us that are fully aware of the gravity of the ascendant. It's our soul path, it's our true essence and can really show up in early life experiences/birth, etc.

What would you think as using Jupiter as the chart ruler? I personally am not a fan of using Neptune, since it's a generational planet and can't carry personal karma. It's a collective planet, spending 14 years in a sign. So realistically speaking, you can only have Neptune in 4-5 signs if you're using Neptune. Using Jupiter has made more sense and impact in my chart, and propelled me to further iunderstanding of my self.

I disagree completely! I followed my heart and things didn't work out. Today I am broke and I have had to move back home after "following" my piece shit passion and starting the business. I got dumped and I am now struggling with depression and existential heartbreak from "following the piece of shit passion" this is generic advice and should be followed at one's own peril. Fuck! I hate religion and spirituality with a passion that I never thought I would

Hello fellow pisces rising I hope you are in a better situation now. I’m glad I have Capricorn sun because having Pisces rising makes me feel like I could just float off in outer space forever. I follow my passions as a hobby. I’ve always done art and music but take jobs that are kind of boring and practical and make me money. I keep my feet on the ground but my head is always in the clouds! I really have to be mindful cause I’ve almost gotten swept away in a fantasy land and it could have cost me everything. Pisces rising needs to learn how to stay grounded and focused and really think and weigh all pros and cons before making any huge decisions. We have to find a balance between emotions and logic. We also have to protect ourselves and keep strong boundaries because a lot of toxic people can be attracted to our healing energy.
