My favorite action scenes from this franchise (primarily the movies) are the Chipmunks fighting off the security guards in the 2007 film, Alvin rescuing the Chipettes in The Squeakquel, the whole crew escaping the island in Chipwrecked, and Alvin brawling Suggs in The Road Chip. This franchise definitely needs more action.

The start of this video had me laughing so hard.
I could go for some more daring rescues and chase scenes. Also Ellie’s potential isn’t being utilized because she’s more action oriented.
More action could benefit her and give her more to do in the plots. ❤
Also I would love to punch some of the CGI humans in the face too.

It was slice of life action. I would like to see the show Chipmunks and Chipettes have to escape and be rescued from somebody who wants to study them because maybe they see behind the veil that these Chipmunks shouldn't be walking, talking, and wearing clothes like we are.

Um I would love to see more action, cause you got Alvin who is a very mischievous character and action is up his ally, when you think about back in the day you know Looney Tunes or Tom And Jerry thoses shorts did have violence and action in them so it's kinda natural to have that in a cartoon format, but I understand the show is aimed at kids and you wouldn't want your kid to follow that example, but you gotta remember it's only pretend and it's not real, so I think kids would be okay watching that.
You said that Adventure wasn't as big back then in that genre but if you look at Indiana Jones a franchise with Action - Adventure and Violence in thoses films, also DC has had action Adventure moments in there movie as well you know with the bad guy and hero you fighting in each other. So it was a thing back then because of all those action-packed movies.
As for my favourite action scene ummm I wouldn't say I would have a favourite but I did like the Road Chip one where Alvin was in the bar fighting Agent Suggs, um there are a couple of other action scenes.
But I would really love to see this franchise push forward with taking more action Adventure cause it fits the brand and the chipmunks so I would love that.

I was referring to the 1960s, the Ross Sr. era when The Alvin Show was airing, when I said “the action genre wasn’t as big back then”. Not the 80s when action movies started to become a bigger hit. Hence why there were a lot of movie parody episodes at the tail end of the 80s series.
And yes, cartoons like Looney Toons had been doing violence decades before AATC existed, but most of it was dropping anvils on characters or blowing them up in a comedic manner. Characters weren’t actively exchanging punches for narrative purposes (because there was little to no narrative).

@@Granditamias ah right, yeah i would say the 60s is more like a comedic cartoonish era than anything else, I guess that make sense to why there were so many movie parodies of the chipmunks in some of the episodes. Yeah i mean looney tunes was more violent also Tom and Jerry to a degree, but i guess you could say in thoses days there was no narrative or story to put that into content like at all, but i get what you’re saying.

I think you could make a video discussing about Bagdasarian Productions suing Capitol Records (it's because Capitol used AATC music without permission) I saw that on Wikipedia. Please make a video about that
