About 10 years ago, I was standing on a subway platform in NYC. I was on my way home from an awful day at work. I was late on my rent, my car had been towed, my bank account was overdrawn, and I had just used the last ride on my MetroCard. I was hungry and I knew I didn't have any food at home. I wouldn't be paid for another 2 days. As I stood on this train platform, a homeless man with a guitar sang this song, tears on his face. I gave him the last $3 in my wallet and stood there on that platform and cried with him. This song will always remind me of that moment.
The Singer and the Band changed my perception of music performed by Indonesians. I discovered this channel only last week and have been watching it everyday. I live in the United States and was a world traveler for many years. This is the best performance I have seen for many of the oldies performed by this team.

May not be the best rendition of the song, but boy, does she have this calming presence...I always come back just watching and listening to her singing this song to calm me down when I feel depressed...it calms my anxieties...
