At last a heroine who stands up against bullying. This is my first traveling-in-time film plot where the heroine tells the ML that her soul has possessed his dead wife's body. Respectful closure is then given to the dead wife (also a first for me).
@camik7011 it means she doesn't love herself at all. He gave her abortion medicine to drink, killing an innocent child. Also, he was involved in a scheme that led to her death. So, why did she even go back to the palace after being free. I notice a lot of these dramas glorify husband abusing their wives, and the wives are gullible enough to just look past the physical and emotional abuse and then go right to the unfaithful husband.🤦♀️

This is a really good version of the “Modern Doctor transmigrates into ancient times”-story with great actors. The storyline is low on abuse and high on the content, making it captivating and interesting. I loved this strong/adamant/kind FL and supporting/powerful/trusting ML (after FL’s transmigration). This version is definitely well worth watching. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! In ancient times, a Princess is framed for carrying another man’s child by her own sister. Her sister (2FL) has the Prince (ML) convinced that she was the one he was with at the time the child was conceived, so the Princess must have been with someone else. Her scumbag husband feeds her abortion soup and leaves her to some male servants to play with, but she dies before they can have their way with her. The Prince then takes 2FL as his concubine. In modern times, FL is a world known miracle doctor. After saving yet another patient, she has a stroke and collapses. But instead of dying, she transmigrates into the body of the Princess. When she wakes up, she fights off the servants who wants to rape her and escapes the Palace. 5 og 6 years later, FL is living with her son at their medical house. One day the Prince and 2FL turn up in order to persuade the Miracle Doctor she is now known as to come treat his father, the Emperor. Not recognizing her because she wears a veil, he accepts any payment she wants. In the end she and her son follow him to the Palace where she discovers that the Emperor is not only suffering from pneumonia but also has been poisoned over a longer period. Despite her having to unveil herself, she manages to convince the Prince that her likeness to his former Princess is a coincidence. Soon, the two (or rather three) of them are yet again entangled. Well, this has a happy ending. Note: I have watched this once before, so this might be my second review of this 😁
Low on abuse? Maybe low on abuse screen time? He does emotionally abuse his original wife, and sets her up to be raped and killed, after ordering their child to be aborted…. I’m not sure I’d call that low on abuse… I kind of feel like this story has the subtle concept that the original wife kinda deserved it because she was naive and kind and didn’t defend herself effectively. But, hey, modern doctor pops into the body and suddenly she’s worthy of better treatment from the ML? Meh, didn’t love it. I do love strong and smart FLs, don’t get me wrong. I just feel that people should have basic principles of not abusing others in general.
This C-🎭 really doesn’t make sense🤔 The ML and 2nd FL can’t tell that the miracle doctor is the FL; however, the emperor knows right away who she really is😯 If the brainless trophy husband believes everyone but you, why return to him five years later🤔 Pointless plot🙄
Worth to watch though the plots were a bit familiar. Actors and directing were good. A nice but poor emperor who had been poisoned by the emperess. But after then he helped ML a lot. The kid actor was a cutie.

I think, this drama is one of those exceptions to the same trope category. It starts off as a huge misunderstanding as usual and the ml hating the fl with all his might due to the lies of the villainess. Anyways, I say it’s an exception because of the “divine” dreams that both the ml & fl had, which led to their reconciliation. It was like they were meant to be. The ml was a total jerk at the beginning but he slowly supported the fl, which gave him some redeeming qualities. Also, the fl revealed the truth about her identity as a time traveler so their relationship was still up in the air even tho she was initially firm about leaving. There was a lot of political drama and not much info on the fl’s family but that didn’t seem to matter much since the fl had superior medical skills and can fend for herself in normal attacks. The intimacy/kisses are very few and has a happy ending. Overall, I enjoyed this drama.
Yeah, I don't really buy the spontaneous love he has for her. When he got stabbed he was still calling her evil in his dream. I wish she would have at least made him grovel more. He did try to kill her baby. Now suddenly he loves her and wants to do an intense investigation? I feel like she and the baby were doing fine.
His misunderstandings about his wife was framed by FL's sister, the concubine. Appearance did confused the credibility. It was the sister by his side after waking up from being drugged. Thus why he believed FL was pregnant with her affair. Since the visit to invite FL to palace to cure the emperor, ML found the concubine evil characteristics and doubted himself about his misjudgment on FL. Hope my interpretation can be of your assistance.
