I was at a friends house for a party in Santo Domingo and I put on Your Teeth in My Neck, no one knew that song or who was singing but some said the voice sounded familiar. Then I played Telepatía, everyone started singing “ahhh esta es ella” and started playing her other Spanish songs. She definitely has the two language market on lock 🔒
Ugh, I love her so much. I follow her since 2015, when RUclips unexpectedly showed me her first single Melting and it had like 120 views at the time. It was love at first listen. I remember showing her music to all my friends and promoting her on social media. I wanted her so much to get famous so I could finally watch her live. AND I DID. I got to see her this year in Colombia and I couldn't be prouder of all that she's become. What an ICON.

Happy for her recognition. We’re the same age and when I was 16 I was obsessed with finding artists on SoundCloud. I speak Spanish and naturally gravitated to her music. I found her on SoundCloud and never stopped listening.
This makes me so proud as a Colombian. I started following Kali back in 2017. I was fascinated by this new artist and I am so happy to see her grow. I love you Kali!
I remember being at the music festival 6 years ago (Life Is Beautiful) and running around the festival grounds and coming across the stage with Kali Uchis and being mesmerized by her performance. Fan ever since!

i discovered kali back in 2015 ish when my brother would play it for me to sleep, her voice was so calming and peaceful. since then when i got a tablet in elementary i’ve been hooked 😭 now i’m sophomore in hs. her music has helped me a lot throughout the years building my confidence. finally got to see her live couple weeks ago. love you kali, you have truely helped me glad i got to grow up with you!
