KIERAN FOLLOWING WEST HAM DEFEAT 2036pm 5.10.24 cobblers!! someone dropped a bollock. the team should know what to do. if it doesn't know how to play football, then.... it was holding it's own to some degree.... its gonna do a yo-yo act like the moribund burnley - to-ing and fro-ing cos it has no idea what to do up there with the alleged big guns... who aint as tough as you all think. yer showing the opposition too much respect...so much so they're tekkin the pish.

There are defining games for teams and this MUST be the one. We will play in huge arenas now and I thought the London stadium somehow frightened us. As did the etihad. Rabbits in headlights for 10 minutes is no use. We are not blessed with superstars, our ethos has always been every player needs to be “on it”from minute 1. Didn’t happen. When you’re under pressure going into half time, hoof it. On that vane, Muric is a confidence player but needs to recognise there’s no shame in knocking it long or into row z in order to reorganise. when a pass is risky. His decision making turned the whole defence into a state of panic. They didn’t trust their goalie yesterday. Hutchinson looks lightweight at this level, central isn’t working. Starting to wonder about the £20m tbh. Hope I’m wrong. Our Jack needs to spend less time thinking his surname is grealish and keep it simple. This mistake strewn drubbing must be defining in a positive way with lessons learnt - schoolboy errors eradicated. BUT I believe KM is the coach to make that happen. And I believe Portman Rd will keep us up. 🚜’s ❤
McKenna sounded absolutely shattered in that. You could tell he wasn’t happy (rightly so I’d say). I think we should be playing Omari back on the right, he just isn’t having the same effect in the middle. Delap is simply fantastic and showed as much again today. We’ve got the international break now to get some issues sorted out with anyone staying in the camp. McKenna is still the 🐐 regardless of this result. Looking forward to playing Everton next. COYB!!

Not goat but his first club being Ipswich in league one and bringing them to the premier league is a feat only capable by someone who is destined to be a great manager. Especially since he did so well clubs like Tottenham and man United want him (within 2 years of managing)
We were extremely lucky to get a point at both Brighton and Southampton, lose those, and we would have had two points from seven games. Too many new players, like Forest last season, this is not good enough in this league. I hope McKenna were fuming at the players after this horror show. This hurt!
We turn the ball over far too easily, both clarke and Hutchinson need to be much better and bring others into the game.. Philips is not the solution for our midfield...We actually made West Ham look a decent team which clearly they are not....
It was sloppy, can’t be giving away goals like that. I felt the villa goals we gave away were far too easy as well. Hopefully we can get some strength in the back and aim for a clean sheet.
Fear for Ipswich after watching that performance as it was simply dreadful. Could get away with those defensive mistakes in the Championship as go up the other end an score, but totally different proposition in this league.

Axel was a big miss and no one controlled the back line. Hutchinson is no longer getting the space he had last year, better opposition. Like to see Hutchinson on the right and Szmodics at 10. Learn from it and move on, but need to learn quick to keep ahead of the drop zone.

This really is the writing on the wall, seven games, no wins. In my mind, too many new players on the pitch, no rhythm, bring back Chaplin, Luongo, Woolfenden, Hirst. This was ten steps back from the Villa game, every time Westham was in out half, they looked dangerous. A long season ahead, indeed.
Im going to start calling Muric Dacula as he dont like crosses. Time to give Walton a runout Hutchinson should be moved to the right, and bring on Szmodics to play in the middle

I think Ipswich defeat so much becouse I think they was nervous to play in a very big stadium, but you will defenetely stay up and win against Everton on 2 weeks

Omari is a good player, but last season he was used as a sub in the last 30min as an impact sub out on the right, In my opinion he's not a starter yet
