Dynamo Dresden is the one of or the big club of the former GDR. They had big players for example Mathias Sammer, Ulf Kirsten or Dixi Dörner. After the German reunification a manager from West Germany missmanaged and Dynamo had to restart. Since today they change each year between 2nd and 3rd devisison in Germany. But the club is huge and with RB Leipzig, Hertha BSC and Union Berlin the biggest football club in Eastern Germany. The fans are very awesome and support the team in every devisison. They have awesome choreographies and chants. Only problem some of them are racist or to violent. I hope Dynamo Dresen can reach the 1. Bundesliga soon. Is one of the most important sights in Dresden together with the world famous rebuilt old city centre with Fraunekirche and Semper opera. Dynamo belongs to Dresden like the White House to Washington DC.

Only in Argentina fans created a bigger stadium flag - Dynamo Dresden has played 98 european cup matches, the last one being in 1991. Since ever then, we dream of fulfilling the 100th one, but it's a far way still to reach this big dream - our town is called Elbflorenz (Florence of the Elbe) in reference to our beautiful baroque scenery and the Italian town of Florence - with the town being located at the most right-wing region in Germany, the clubs fans are often associated with the right-wing/racists. While this fits the stadium culture around the 90s/00s, the Ultras Dynamo made good progress in forming a consensus of non-politics in the fan block and made some right-wing hooligans dissapear from the fan block - Ultras Dynamo are considered among the top4 Ultras in Germany alongside Ultras Frankfurt, Block U Magdeburg & Suptras Rostock Thanks for having a view on my club and its fan culture 💛🖤

A fate many Big East German Club's had to share as capitalism and communism clashed. Luckily many clubs have recovered like Dynamo Dresden or especially Union Berlin.

The clip around 8:30 triggers me till today (i Still got much respect for the dynamo fans). I’m a hertha fan (the game at this clip was in our stadium) and we got a capacity of 75000. Normally the away fans get like 7000 tickets. Somehow the club f*cked it up and gave the Dresden fans the opportunity to get 30000 tickets. At a home game just having like 65% of the seats is just embarrassing for us fans eventhough it wasn’t our fault but the clubs… cheers to the dynamo fans y’all made us completely hate the club board

But every game that we played against Dynamo, they were 3 times louder than us, came with over 10 thousand people in our small city and did pyros. We have a O, L, N,... Block so it's easier to finde where to sit (like Block L Row 31 Seat 5). The K-Block is the only Block where you stand the whole Game. They set the mood and start the fan chants.
I m fan since over 2010. Know I'm 19. We didn't manage well to move up to Bundesliga and are always between 2 and 3 class, but this club is love for so much people in Germany. Fans come from over 100km when it's Matchday at our home. We believe in that to come back to first division. We have a Dream! Over 20000 activ Club-Members has our club and that in 2/3 division. We stand behind our team and keep dreaming to come back. We are not a pay Club like Red Bull Leipzig, we are Dynamo Dresden. History, Fans, Pyro, Ultras and obsolete love to this club. 🖤💛

I m fan since over 2010. Know I'm 19. We didn't manage well to move up to Bundesliga and are always between 2 and 3 class, but this club is love for so much people in Germany. Fans come from over 100km when it's Matchday at our home. We believe in that to come back to first division. We have a Dream!
Over 20000 activ Club-Members has our club and that in 2/3 division.
