What the camera's microphone picks up is totally different to what you could actually hear at the concert. There were probably a thousand other people singing along off key and it wouldn't have made a difference because Kelly was amplified so loud! Believe me - I saw her twice in 2005 & couldn't even hear myself singing along! Whoever was recording this was probably concentrating on not getting caught by security rather than listening for off key singers.

I'm not a Kelly Clarkson fan by any stretch of the imagination but I think she did really well with this. It needs a bit more feeling and less vocal exercises though.
You can not compare this to Lennox, because it is not Kelly's song it's Annie's. Annie has a vast soul, kelly does not. Kelly could only "cover" a song like this (and that's jumping in some deep water) she could not come up with that on her own, no matter how well she can sing.
