Thank you for the walkthrough! I've been looking to change up our curriculum (been homeschooling for 9 years and I need a change) and looked at Earthschooling samples online. It was funny because all of the concerns I had that it might not work for us were things you brought up! (such as the length of the stories, lack of pictures right next to the activities- it is so time consuming to have to flip between resources during a lesson to access something online- and sheer quantity of material.) I have 4 kids and definately cannot see having the time to memorize all those lessons ahead of time. Thanks for helping with the decision! (still not sure what we're doing but I see this wouldn't be a good fit for us at this point in our journey).

Thank you for taking time to do this video. I looked few times online at all this and wasn’t impressed. I would say it’s rather made for schools not for home education. That is just not possible to cover this amount of reading and for few different grades even less so.

If you’re good at picking and choosing, then it would be great, but I agree...it is a lot! I really enjoy finishing curriculums which would be near-impossible for me to do with this one with multiple grades. But, for the price, it has an amazing amount of resources!

Did you get the core package or the full package? I have been looking into Waldorf and it looks like the core is very inexpensive with Earthschooling and that the fill packages come with a lot more information. Maybe the missing pictures are in the videos in the full package?

For Earthschooling they have blocks (months) and the whole curriculum. I bought the whole first grade curriculum which is essentially all the blocks and tutorials combined. It is a LOT of information and it’s very close to the Waldorf philosophy on education. The only negative I had about it was that, for me, a working/homeschooling mom with no prior Waldorf experience, it was a bit overwhelming and a lot to read. However, if that is not the case for you, it really is an amazing deal because they give you freebies (tutorials) every Friday and they have a weekly chat with an experienced Waldorf teacher. It’s the best deal I’ve seen online for a legitimate Waldorf curriculum.

Yes I just printed them front and back at home on my regular printer (took forever), laminated the front and back covers on my laminator, and had them bound at my local print shop.
