Oh Wow. That was the best subject and best interview. Thank you both very much. I have adhd and plan to walk the Camino in 2025 after my daughter graduates. This helps to ease some of my worries. It is hard to navigate every day life at times let alone try and plan such a journey. Confidence and self belief are hard to establish. This was just what I needed. Much gratitude to you both.
Thank you so much for taking the time say that. My hope was that this interview would help others and make the Camino more accessible for people with ADHD. I'm sorry to hear it makes everday life hard navigate. If you need any advice or tips on Camino planning, do let me know. Take care.
This was fantastic. I leave for my first Camino in 6 weeks and I have ADHD/ autism. I’ve been really worried about people, noises, etc and this was great to watch.
I’m sorry to hear you’ve been worried about your forthcoming trip. But, pleased the interview with stew might have helped you in some way. Take it slow and try to walk your own Camino. The Camino is a wonderfully supportive place to be. If there is anything I can help you, accommodation tips, maps or anything, do let me know. Buen Camino
funny - I'm researching a piece I want to do on the Camino, and its positive effects on people with ADHD - and it's your channel I come across. You're everywhere, Dan! 😃
Ha ha, glad you found it! I also hosted his podcast show where he talks about the camino and ADHD - open.spotify.com/episode/0GChnRPDyzMtrGTyfyi4Ka?si=gsCUR7kFTQKSBJosguGGaQ If you want I can connect you with stew, he’s a super friendly guy.
Thanks, Jon. Great to hear the Camino helps quieten down the monkey brain for you. I find walking for long periods each day so helpful for quietening the mind and letting go of stress.

The Camino was a life changing event for me. I sold my home in Texas and moved to Spain. I'm a permanent pilgrim.
That’s amazing. Are you living near a Camino route, in Spain? How long have you been there?

Thanks for watching. I hope you found it useful
Nice vlog. I personally find exercise and diet manages adhd symptoms, and doing a camino totally shuts the adhd monkey brain down.
