Actually, it's a good habit to always set the price limit especially when investing a larger sum in one go or if you are investing into niche ETFs.
I sometimes see people investing 20k+ in one go and instantly losing 1k or more just because they didn't set the price limit and there weren't enough sellers on a sane price level.
We would say avoid niche ETFs and don’t choose those ones. It is a form of stock picking

Hey Katie & Alan - super helpful video, but the option to pay fees from another account doesn't come up for me for my LISA. I only have standard, high income or low income not 'collect fees outside account where possible'. Do you know why this is or how I could fix it?
What type of LISA do you have? And do you know who it is with? Is it a cash LISA?
@@rebeldonegans yes I've got the same issue. I've opened a HL LISA and a HL fund and share account, and it only has standard, income and high income as options. What do I do?

I'm really enjoying the series and look forward to the next tax year when I can open my first LISA.
I have a question about the 'including charges'. Would it not be better to not include them? Then the full 4,000 pounds is spent on buying into the ETF and the charges are taken from your bank account and not the LISA funds? Sorry if I misunderstood?
Hey Thomas, yes you definitely want the charges to come from your bank account if that’s an option where you are getting your LISA. Someplace called including the charges and someplace called excluding the charges.
