Phillips Head Screwdriver
Zipties
LED Light Strip Kit
Alcohol Cleaner

Did mine like that but was draining the battery was hoping you did something different than me. Disconnected the power from the battery now it's good.

Depending on the bike the touring models have a plug under the seat near the battery that has 3 wires, acc power, (from the switch) ground, and brake

looks nice. how did you secure the strip the one under the fuel tank?
Clean the surface with alcohol. The 3M adhesive will hold fine once pressed on.

Exact same setup on my Honda Shadow. Of course the Honda Shadow is nicer and lasts longer.

Great video. Thank you. Where did you find the brake wire. My system requires connecting to brake wire after the switch, but don't know how to find the wire. I have your same bike.
I didn't use a brake wire. You don't have to connect it. I have seen a brake wire feature for underglow that emits a red light when braking. Not interested in doing that though.
Looks really nice, also isn’t it illegal to drive with red or blue lights on any vehicle? Either way good job!
It's pretty much illegal for any color. However visibility and safety for motorcycles outweighs this law. I dont know of anyone getting pulled over for them.
I've had them on my other bike r1 and got them blue had them on all the time at night and state cops and local cops and never pulled me over for them it Is illegal here

U gotta try and hide those led strips. There is nothing worse than seeing the source of the lights. Especially when they are off.
