I used the same thing as a punching bag. I would really suggest, especially for children. You can use a 1/4 tone ratcheted come-a-long. They are not the cheapest. But worth it. Plus both of the hooks on the come-a- long swivel. So the chain will not spin and bind. I agree it is harder, but in softens the impact on your hands joints by a million. Come-a-long is chain with two hooks at each end, with a ratchet mechanism. It's used to pull objects closer together. It's used alot by welders/Ironworkers. Or it's used to lower/raise an object into place slowly.

@@carterstoysandrandomthings6466 The Bible teaches that God is holy, just, merciful, gracious, loving, and sole creator(Genesis 1:1, Psalm 24:1). The Bible also teaches that man is born with a dreadful sin nature(Psalm 51:5, Ephesians 2:3) and transgressed God's law(Romans 3:23). Since God is the righteous judge, He will punish sinners according to His eternal standard. According to God's word, that punishment is an eternal, physical, and conscious torment(Daniel 12:2,Matthew 25:41, Matthew 3:12, Revelations 14:10-11, Revelations 20:10) in Hell-separated forever from the goodness of God. The good news is that God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ who is equally eternal(John 1:1) and equal in rank and importance(John 5:18, John 10:30) to the Father and the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin to be the means for escape from the domain of darkness and wrath of God for those who repent and believe the gospel. Jesus lived a sinless life and voluntarily and lovingly died on the cross by taking upon Himself our sin and the wrath of God that His elect deserve. Jesus was buried and resurrected(1 Corinthians 15:1-5) on the third day from the grave- demonstrating His power over sin and death and is seated at the right hand of the Father (Ephesians 1:20-23). Your good works or deeds of the Law are not sufficient. Jesus who is fully God and fully man is the complete and perfect sacrifice. It is not grace plus merit, faith plus works, or even Christ plus unrighteous man that will justify the sinner. As a vile wretch, you can be be justified(declared right before God) by only free grace alone, through faith alone and in Christ alone(Romans 3:28, Ephesians 2:8-9). Will you repent(a change of mind that results in the abandonment of sin and turning to the Lord Jesus Christ) and trust in this unchanging Gospel(Mark 1:15) or will you remain an enemy of God?
I bought a garden hose attachment at Walmart that fit into the air hole. I then poked a hole in the air hole compartment so that the water would flow in properly and then I filled it up slowly. I went slowly because it was splashing everywhere when I went fast. I hope this helps.
@@shamimulhoque903 DON’T poke the hole in the bag, BUT.. do poke the hole in the area where you can insert air. The reason I poked the hole was because there is something that prevents air from escaping so that piece makes it harder to fill it with water. I poked it with an Awl. If you’re not familiar it’s a tool that looks like a screw driver but instead of a Phillips or flat head, it has a sharp end. If you don’t have one you can probably just use a Philip’s screwdriver to poke out that piece. If you’re nervous about it you could try filling it without poking the hole but it didn’t work great for me without the hole. Good luck and let me know how it goes.

Thanks for the tip. Aqua bags are used by boxers as an alternative to the maize bag which are purposefully extra heavy and hard so it can be used to train punching strength. Aqua bags will be more gentle on wrists compared to the maize bag but of course it will be hard because it's filled with water which is a lot heavier than the normal filling for heavy bags which can be a mix of foam, wadding, sand, rice or maize. And this is the point. If you want something soft & light to hit with bare hands get a double end bag or better still make one out of a soccer ball and elastic cord.

Its called a anchor shackle and you probably want the 3/4" anchor shackle. I got 2 on amazon for about $17. I just bought them for a 17" buoy Ill use as a headhunter bag and Im getting a polyform a3 120lb buoy to use as a heavybag alternative. So the 2 shackle pack on amazon works well for me
actually, im a boxer myself and your punches really look great thanks for the video
Ha! I appreciate the kind words and I’m glad I could teach people something I learned about making one of these bags. Have a great one!
Looking to get one of these to try out. Had decided on the A2 but after watching your video I now have a better idea of the sizes and have changed that to an A3.
Thanks
I’m really glad I can help a few people out. See... social media isn’t all bad :) Have a great day and good luck!!
A3 is a good size does get a bit heavy. I also got a A1 I use for a head hunter
It has it's pros and cons but the cons of this are that it's made for boats as for Agua it was made for punching. I understand where it comes with being cheap but boat buoys wouldn't last longer. like I said it has more cons than pros
Interesting. I haven’t done much research. I have heard that they have the same patent. I don’t have skin in the game either way. Thanks for the comment. Have a great day
I advise you to get boxing gloves instead of MMA gloves to hit this. You're going to tear the skin on your finger knuckles if they make contact with the bag and you're putting any kind of heat behind your punch.
Alex Muccilli Thanks! After that video I did end up getting a new pair of boxing gloves. You are correct sir, MUCH BETTER for my hands. Thanks
It works excellent... The buoys are a little thicker and harder than the aqua bags so probably better to use gloves.
But I thought they were the exact same product? I have one of each, and they both say Taylor Made on it, and feel the same. Although I haven’t filled the generic buoy up yet. I have the smaller headhunter bag from Aqua, and the big ass A4 buoy. I hope I made the right choice! Waiting for my hanging shit to arrive so I can try it out
The companys buy these n dip die n logo lol thats a plaseebo lol wrap ur hands bit extra itll disapear bro😂
@@davidmccarthy3562 There is one major difference tho, that I’m not sure how they achieved, the blow hole for the generic ones does NOT accommodate the punching sensors like the brand named ones do. I ended up hanging and trying both types

Don’t buy this ducking crap if you live in Canada
I know you said you're not a boxer and do this for fitness, but dude try to keep your guard up it will burn you out more and will be a good habit
Ha ha. Thanks. Will do. 👍🥊💯… I am actually editing my comment because I haven’t watched this video in a while and I just noticed how low the bag was when I was shooting this video… and that my guard was quite low. I’ve actually moved the bag to my garage and have raised it closer to my head level so I definitely don’t drop my guard as much when it’s in a raised position. HOWEVER, even if it’s lower I know I should keep my guard up and bend my knees to get lower 👍👍
Good enough video as far as information, but stop rambling on about things that don't apply to the video.
HA! It's my video, I'll do what I want.... LOL. I'm glad you liked the non-rambling part. Let me tell you about the time...... oops... rambling again.... Have a nice day!
Will it leak if the pin is at the bottom?
Hi. Where did you buy the chains for it? Thanks.
Hello! The ones I hung it with in the video were from my heavy bag. The chain loop at the top of the bag is from Home Depot. It’s a small section of chain with a closeable metal link that I also bought there. I recently moved the bag to my garage so I bought a new longer chain from Home Depot and two spring snap links (one for the top connection and one to clip to the chain loop on the bag). So long story short... Home Depot. I hope that helps. Have a great day!
@@carterstoysandrandomthings6466 Thank you Sir! I'm gonna diy, because the water buoy is only $20+, meaning I just have to attach a chain and it's basicLLy a Tsunami bag.
Sir sorry im trying to buy online buoy, found a 17 x 19 inches. What size is on your video? I wanna buy something that size or bigger. Is it 17 x 19? I dont understand the two dimensions online, it says 17 x 19
So the one I bought was 17 inches round when filled and 19 inches tall. Taylor made calls my model the A3. Here’s a link to Amazon that has the bouy www.amazon.com/Taylor-Made-Products-Inflatable-Vinyl/dp/B085WP43SH You can pick different sizes when you go to buy it. I believe mine is actually the 18 inch one even though I say 17 in the video. I hope that helps.
@@carterstoysandrandomthings6466 Thanks sir, this helps a lot. So now I think the one you have , is 18 would be bigger than what I see here says 12 x 14. www.lazada.com.ph//products/i369012553-s835518683.html?spm=a2o4l.cart.0.0.310a3e17Spwy0U&urlFlag=true
I've been thinking of getting one of these but I'd probably need two one chest to fact level and one stomach level for kicking
Or maybe you will become a head kick KO SPECIALIST 😂 I kick mine at times, but it is quite high for my flexibility level.
@@carterstoysandrandomthings6466 haha good point I always see the Taekwondo guys doing those cool knock outs. Yeah thats definitely a bit high I can kick high but it's not all that practical for fighting I might get a big one I've seen I think one that's longer than these but it's almost $200
There's a bouy that's cheeper... but the problem for me is that the bouy has a tiny hole without that screw piece ....can I still fill it up with water without it leaking ?
EllY PALILEO Honestly, I don’t know. I would think you’d have to seal it somehow. Maybe duct tape over the hole??? Or plug it with some sort of putty. Sorry I can’t be of more help. Have a great day!

The Bible teaches that God is holy, just, merciful, gracious, loving, and sole creator(Genesis 1:1, Psalm 24:1).
How did you fill this bag?
I bought a garden hose attachment at Walmart that fit into the air hole. I then poked a hole in the air hole compartment so that the water would flow in properly and then I filled it up slowly. I went slowly because it was splashing everywhere when I went fast. I hope this helps.
@Phil Stolaronek thanks. I'm scared to poke the hole. what did you poke it with?
@@thesecretofthematrix8352 I used a 5mm drill bit on a hammer drill. But it took me 90 mins to fill the bag.
@@shamimulhoque903 Well.. it took a while to fill, but now you’re all set for a long time. Best of luck!

get 16oz boxing gloves bro
Done. Thanks
Thank you I was hoping I wouldn't have to return it.
When you say return it, what do you mean? Thanks for watching!
@@carterstoysandrandomthings6466 I meant return the water bag.
well done!
Idk why he didn’t just fill it up outside.
People need to go through their own process. Thanks for commenting. Happy hitting 🥊
What size is that
Alejandro Abraham Hello. It’s an A3. If you look up Taylor Made Boat Fender size chart you can see it. It’s 1 1/2 feet tall and about 50 inches round when filled with water. I’m not 100% sure, but I think it’s like buying the large size Aqua Bag. Hope that helps. Have a great day 👍👊💥
Phil Stolaronek do you know how much it weights for this size?
Alejandro Abraham I’m going to give you a guesstimate from picking it up. It probably weighs around 70 pounds.
What's the thing in the back? A sauna?
Bill Yu Yes, infrared JNH Lifestyles sauna in the background. I use it every day for 24 minutes. LOVE IT
Do you still have that and is it hokding up? What size it that one? Thank you
If you live near the ocean, they float up on the beaches after a good storm.
This is exactly what they do. The Aqua training bag company has a patent.
you can find that buoy on aliexpress for like 18 bucks
Fabulous video. Great idea.
Stuart Smith Thanks. Let me know how it goes if you make one 👍👍
@@philstolaronek1010 mine comes tomorrow. I'll get back to you. £24.
I would advise you to put in less water. And use 16 ounce boxing gloves.
ChrischrosBelgium Thanks. I did get the 16oz gloves. Now I’ll try less water.
there has to be a testing differnce between buoys that hold air and float.. vs a bag that holds water and is hit. there's a difference.
According to what I’ve heard, it’s the same patent, but I don’t know for sure. It works well for my purposes. Thanks for the comment
What size is this bag?
1:15
Thanks for the tip. Aqua bags are used by boxers as an alternative to the maize bag which are purposefully extra heavy and hard so it can be used to train punching strength.
Aqua bags will be more gentle on wrists compared to the maize bag but of course it will be hard because it's filled with water which is a lot heavier than the normal filling for heavy bags which can be a mix of foam, wadding, sand, rice or maize. And this is the point.
If you want something soft & light to hit with bare hands get a double end bag or better still make one out of a soccer ball and elastic cord.
How much does it weigh
I don’t know exactly but I’d say 50 pounds. It’s not super heavy, but I need an assist when I’m hanging it up. I hold, the other person locks it into place.
