Do you guys remember 6-7 years ago when the bubblegut discussion started? Phil Heath, Roelly Winklaar, Big Ramy etc all had top placings while also looking semi pregnant. Now a couple of years later our top two at the Arnolds both have streamlined abs and can hit an effective vacuum. As a matter of fact, almost all of the mens open guys who competed today had great midsections. Bodybuilding really changed for the better. Congrats to Hadi!
Samson is starting to get one.
Big Ramy didn’t have a gut
He just had bad conditioning
& I’m not a fan of Ramy
He doesn’t / didn’t have a nice looking physique
They still have slight guts, they just got better at controlling it

Btw, i would like to see a height category, shorter competitors have an unfair advantage filling out a smaller frame. It's amazing that we ignore basic physics in place of bro logic.

Congrats to Hadi and Hany. What they did after a 15 hour flight just 24 hours before the show. Outstanding.
Hadi is always fighting an uphill battle with the visa nonsense and the long flights. Something no other competitor has to deal with. However, he is always smiling and has a good attitude about it.
Yeah I’m not sure why he never gets the visa stuff sorted earlier, it always seems to be last minute.
Imagine the stress levels associated with the last-minute visa.

Wow, the lighting and overall quality of this video is amazing. The Arnold really nailed the stage and stream quality for the finals
I honestly didn't care who won , the energy was so great at this show .

People should appreciate the physiques we’re seeing right now because if you told someone during 2014 that the next Olympia champions would be able to pull off vacuum poses and have streamlined abs, they would look at you crazy lol
It is tiring hearing the older bodybuilders talking down on the current athletes and talking about how great they were in the 1900s. I think Dorian Yates called the recent Mr. Olympias refrigerators and short, even though he was only like 5"10" or something, only a few inches taller than Derek. Some of those older dudes are so condescending. I actually think Hadi is a great athlete, not just a great bodybuilder. He is always lean and in shape, is explosive physically, super strong, can pose all night, great midsection which he can control for a long time, etc...
big ups to the folks at the arnold for improving the lighting in that short of a time, the difference is night and day

Let me say congratulations to Hadi Choopan for winning his second Arnold Classic. Samson in my opinion look great. I believe that he was still recovering from his ailment,but still got up on stage and delivered. Hadi is on a mission and I believe he was robbed from defending his crown 👑. Now he's on a mission on collecting titles en route now to Mr.O. The Persian Wolf 🐺 is coming and he's looking dangerous. So guys be at your best. Samson the Warrior will give him a run for his money🏆and I know at MR. O Samson will be stronger 💪🏾, The BRIT.
Haadi is such a great guy, lovely personality and a hard hard worker
its a good look for the UK crowd and the US crowd showing Hadi the love. this shows the people of our countries are not the dicks the government makes us look like. GO HADI!

Samson looked amazing. Samson needs to bring this look to the Olympia on Friday, then 3-5% better on Saturday night, he will give them hell. Akim looked amazing, if Chris can get him on both days he too will be a problem.

@@stuperhero203I’m calling Nick for the win this year. Samson will drop to 4th maybe 5th if both Nick and Ramy come back, but once he gets a good off season he’ll start performing great. He needs to give his body more time to recover I think

Hadi looked amazing. If he wins the Olympia it will be a great story and very inspiring. He lost, went back and worked even harder, and redeemed himself.
Losing last year's Olympia has made Hadi a better competitor and sportsman, dude was posting his journey to both Arnold's like he has never done before and it was amazing. He shouldn't stop

It wasn't that close Hadi beats Samson on density, muscle mas, conditioning and he beat Samson on most poses.

I’m just as happy to see Hany translate for Hadi as for his victory; you have no idea how bad is his translator at his job.
His translator is atrocious. Hany needs to be on that stage with him.
Those who judge Hadi for leaving the stage in Mr. Olympia should know that Hadi did not win the championship for many years, although he deserved the championship, but he was always good-natured. Bodybuilding is a tough and stressful discipline for someone like Hadi, and Mr. Lunsford and Samson had better conditions than Hadi. And it took a lot of effort to reach this position. Before judging Hadi Chapan, let's put ourselves in his place!

I think not enough people are pointing out that Hadi came to UK last minute and still was able to bring the conditions. I hear people talking about Samson being sick and leaving his coach, which takes its toll, but last minute flight can REALLY mess up your physique.
i think consistency of hadi make him worth to redeem the next mr. olympia title. what he did last olympia cannot be judged because we didn't know him so well.

This is bodybuilding man. Huge fan of Hadi and Samson. They put on a show. Hadi left the door open on Friday but closed it today. Samson made improvements and now he has the data he needs to go into an offseason and an Olympia prep

The amount of respect that Hadi and Samson show each other here is fantastic. Two of the finest champion bodybuilders showing a tremendous amount of class. This is what being an ambassador of the sport is all about. This was a particularly exciting Arnold. With the question of jetlag affecting Hadi and his last minute arrival with so little time to prepare, and everyone looking at Samson knowing his wife was prepping him for the show and acting as coach. She proved her expertise and knowledge of the sport. Samson looked better than he did in Ohio.
This was definitely IMO a closer competition between Hadi and Samson - however even this improved Samson still can’t beat the Hadi we saw in Ohio. Happy for Akim his conditioning was so good he looked like he could even compare with Samson in certain shots.
Samson was better in the Uk without a coach. Starting to scare me as a Hadi fan. Proud of them both

I'm a hadi fan. honestly you are right but in Olympia last year all hadi fans and his people expected him to win and Hadi was upset about it. It's crazy cus hadi was sad because of his people and country. believe me. everyone knows hadi and Derek are friends and they work together also hadi respects to all sportsmanship in bodybuilding
It was close, everyone agrees about that, in which case the reigning champion should keep his title.

Hadis back was a bit superior still, and the separation with the pick on his arms was also better than Samson. He still has has an edge. You have to understand that illusion makes all the difference, at the end of the day the illusion of the most complete physique is what will make the decision. Hadi still had the best conditioning and the best presentation. Hence the results. Congratulations to Hadi .
