Do you guys remember 6-7 years ago when the bubblegut discussion started? Phil Heath, Roelly Winklaar, Big Ramy etc all had top placings while also looking semi pregnant. Now a couple of years later our top two at the Arnolds both have streamlined abs and can hit an effective vacuum. As a matter of fact, almost all of the mens open guys who competed today had great midsections. Bodybuilding really changed for the better. Congrats to Hadi!
Hadi is always fighting an uphill battle with the visa nonsense and the long flights. Something no other competitor has to deal with. However, he is always smiling and has a good attitude about it.

I honestly didn't care who won , the energy was so great at this show . It's a shame only one person could win , every guy on that stage was awsome! By the way , my stream was perfect.

It is tiring hearing the older bodybuilders talking down on the current athletes and talking about how great they were in the 1900s. I think Dorian Yates called the recent Mr. Olympias refrigerators and short, even though he was only like 5"10" or something, only a few inches taller than Derek. Some of those older dudes are so condescending. I actually think Hadi is a great athlete, not just a great bodybuilder. He is always lean and in shape, is explosive physically, super strong, can pose all night, great midsection which he can control for a long time, etc...
Let me say congratulations to Hadi Choopan for winning his second Arnold Classic. Samson in my opinion look great. I believe that he was still recovering from his ailment,but still got up on stage and delivered. Hadi is on a mission and I believe he was robbed from defending his crown 👑. its crazy to see that even the weak version of Hadi could be able to beat the vest version of Samson is crazy . However hadi got the last minute flight and visa and also beat Samson in his hometown , show how good and competitive Hadi is .

Those who judge Hadi for leaving the stage in Mr. Olympia should know that Hadi did not win the championship for many years, although he deserved the championship, but he was always good-natured. Bodybuilding is a tough and stressful discipline for someone like Hadi, and Mr. Lunsford and Samson had better conditions than Hadi. And it took a lot of effort to reach this position. Before judging Hadi Chapan, let's put ourselves in his place! Hadi deserved the championship and is also a lovely and kind person
Samson looked amazing. Samson needs to bring this look to the Olympia on Friday, then 3-5% better on Saturday night, he will give them hell. Akim looked amazing, if Chris can get him on both days he too will be a problem.

i think consistency of hadi make him worth to redeem the next mr. olympia title. what he did last olympia cannot be judged because we didn't know him so well.

I'm a hadi fan. honestly you are right but in Olympia last year all hadi fans and his people expected him to win and Hadi was upset about it. I think not enough people are pointing out that Hadi came to UK last minute and still was able to bring the conditions. I hear people talking about Samson being sick and leaving his coach, which takes its toll, but last minute flight can REALLY mess up your physique.
This was definitely IMO a closer competition between Hadi and Samson - however even this improved Samson still can’t beat the Hadi we saw in Ohio. Happy for Akim his conditioning was so good he looked like he could even compare with Samson in certain shots.
Hadis back was a bit superior still, and the separation with the pick on his arms was also better than Samson. He still has has an edge. You have to understand that illusion makes all the difference, at the end of the day the illusion of the most complete physique is what will make the decision. Hadi still had the best conditioning and the best presentation. Hence the results. Congratulations to Hadi .
The amount of respect that Hadi and Samson show each other here is fantastic. Two of the finest champion bodybuilders showing a tremendous amount of class. This is what being an ambassador of the sport is all about. This was a particularly exciting Arnold. With the question of jetlag affecting Hadi and his last minute arrival with so little time to prepare, and everyone looking at Samson knowing his wife was prepping him for the show and acting as coach. She proved her expertise and knowledge of the sport. Samson looked better than he did in Ohio.

Akim needs to be talked about more. He looks like he finally figured it out after all these years. Everyone said his thick skin holds him back but he figured out how to make it a lot thinner.
Honest, i really liked Hadi's look. Maybe it was standing next to Samson, but he looked a little downsized but more aesthetic and balanced. More streamlined. Samson really delivering on all the promise he had and aesthetics when he burst onto the scene a few years ago.
How much more muscle size could he put on without losing the more aesthetics? For a shorter bodybuilder and smaller frame, he’s now filled it to the max.
