      mate it depends on the ground, the type of gold your targeting, the process your using, the capabilities of the processor ohhh n the BIGGEST THING OF ALL IS THE AMOUNT OF GOLD IN THE AREA…..     I've seen people use a fire to heat up stones and then they throw it into a bucket of water but I think it would be better if you used one of those giant magnifying glasses. I've seen it on RUclips melting stones so I'm pretty sure that it would work on the concept that you have as well. After you heat up the rock throw it into some water that's in the metal bucket and it should break down into sand.

      @@jorgyauhtoledo3838 aqua regia simply doesnt work ,, if you have microscopic gold in your material, then you need to work on a large scale .. which you cant do with aqua regia,, if you have visible gold,, then you can extract it panning .. believe me .. no need for aqua regia .. its useless.

      @@S13402 Thanks for the reply, but considering that aqua regia dissolves gold in the precipitation process, so the acids contained in aqua regia should take this fine gold from the sand and dissolve it too, would you agree with me? Maybe if we increase a greater amount of Nitric Acid in relation to Hydrochloric Acid or else vice versa... Maybe it would be another chemical process like Electrosis that could precipitate this fine gold? Or maybe use logic and reasoning and do the reverse process, that is: Precipitating all the metals existing in the analyzed material such as silver, copper, lead, tin, aluminum and others, leaving only the heavy material and the fine gold, which would not be dissolved, then the foundry would do the rest of the process, joining the tiny strands of fine gold and incorporating it. But here comes the question, which products should we use to avoid precipitating gold?       @@jorgyauhtoledo3838 what I know is that all precipitants precipitate all metals,, that is problem 1,,,, problem 2 is the presence of other metals like copper seems to work as another oxidiser when trying to remove base metals with nitric acid before aqua regia,, thus dissolving gold too !! Problem 3,, sulphides do change characteristics of aqua regia,, thus you should roast the material at early stage + getting rid if magnetic filings with a magnet ,, which will take some gold out too,,, it will be a very boring long process to get (maybe not) very small amount of gold (if there were no iron in aqua regia solution) .. iron will always be there (hematite or pyrrhotite or any other shape that cannot be removed by magnets) .. iron presence in aqua regia solution prevents gold precipitation especially if the gold amount is so small !!
      Now, you have one solution; roasting the material and add aqua regia directly, then precipitating whatever there ,, melt the precipitated material and deal with it with sulfuric acid then nitric acid,, but the problem is diluted acids can dissolve some metals but not all,, concentrated acids dissolve some metals but not all metals ..!! Thus you will need four different concentrations of acids to get rid of unwanted metals,, but you will lose some gold also due to presence of copper as an example .. FINALLY,, you may not find anything 😁
      The last thing to say is; nitric acid works as an oxidiser in aqua regia, hydrochloric acid gets the ions of gold oxidised by nitric acid .. ratio 1:3 is not good when it comes to neutralising nitric acid,, cuz you will find excessive amount of nitric there … the ratio should be according to the concentration value of both acids,, that is by dividing the concentration value of nitric acid (68% normally) on (33% hydrochloric acid normally) dividing that by 10: example 68/33=2,06 .. divide 2.06 /10= 0.206 .. thus nitric acid should not exceed 20% of aqua solution to avoid excessive amount ..
      Generally speaking; aqua regia is not appropriate for gold extraction from rocks or sand … you can use other leaching agents if available.

Actually, taking into account the presence of Copper (extra oxidant) and the eternal Iron, it is difficult to reach the point of Aqua Regia acting on other metals, leaving the gold intact, you will really lose a little gold, congratulations for your explanation, the aqua regia process is really unfeasible in this collected material.
      There are studies among artisanal miners and hobbyists, with several reports in which the precipitation of (talc gold or powdered gold) is obtained, as they say, coming from black sand mixed with micro ferrous compounds, through the mixture of vegetable oil in water. , because due to the minuscule size of gold and its relatively lower weight, it also has a low density in relation to the oil applied in the distilled water mixture, making only the fine gold float (levitate, precipitate) in the water, not having the need to use acids and dissolve the other metals found along with the fine gold. The problem in this process is knowing how to concentrate the tiny particles that are floating in a single specific place, inside the container, without them not being fixed on the edges of this container along with the oil applied in the mixture being analyzed.
      I've been thinking of using a sucker on this sand that didn't precipitate, leaving only the fine gold flowing in the water, at a level well above the sand that was extracted, until it came out completely, leaving only the distilled water with the oil in the container. vegetable oil, together with the fine floating gold... Then I will proceed to a third process, which would be the neutralization of the vegetable oil, making the fine gold settle at the bottom of the container, using suction again at a level above the small and fine fibers of the fine gold settled at the bottom, eliminating the water contaminated with debris and the neutralized oil... Going after this to the next step, which would be the qualitative filtration of the entire mass of fine gold deposited at the bottom of the reservoir.
      I am trying to carry out this study as I found it more suitable and would completely eliminate the handling of corrosive acids. I am studying the relative density (g/cm3), in relation to the free acidity and the peroxide index of each type of vegetable oil and existing oils, to see which would be the most ideal, that is, the best type of vegetable oil or oil, which one will pull more fine gold from the deposited sand upwards, precipitating it altogether, as well as how much vegetable oil or olive oil would be needed, because the less oil you use, the better it will be, the cleaner the process will be overall .
      Regarding the Relative Density of each existing oil, it must be taken into account whether the oil with the "Lower Relative Density" (Diesel Oil = 0.820 - 0.880), will respond better or worse in the extraction of fine gold to the surface than the oil with the "Highest Relative Density" (Cashew Nut Oil = 0.974 - 0.985 g/cm3), as Gold has a Relative Density in the range of 19.3 g/cm3, very close to Mercury with its 13.6 g/cm3.
      We will study using a magnetic stirrer at every step of the process... I look forward to seeing the final result based on the experience and information gathered from these Artisanal Miners... Let's see how it goes... Good studies, have a good time night with your family.

    عمل رائع تشكر اخي الكريم ...انا مند مدة لم انجح بتاتا بالترسيب من الماء الملكي ممكن بسبب المواد ففكرت اخر تجربة ترسيب ارسب بالزنك بودر نقي وبعدها حين يترسب بمادا تنصحني في التعامل مع الراسب ب اي حمض يليق به من حيث ان الزنك يرسب كل المعادن ويجب تنقية قبل الصهر واحترت ب اي حمض اخ حسان جزاك الله خيرا

      حينما يتم الترسيب بالزنك أو سلفات الحديد يجب غسل الراسب بالنيتريك ولكن يجب الحذر بغسل الراسب أكثر من مرة أولا بالماء الساخن وفي المرة الأولى منهم اغسل الراسب بالنشادر ثم بعده بماء ساخن أكثر من مرة للتخلص من الهيدروكلوريك نهائيا لكيلا تحدث مشكلة عند غسل الراسب بالنيتريك فيصنع معك ماء ملكي مرة أخرى دون أن تشعر بذلك.

    instead of boiling the ore dust in H2SO4 it would be cheaper (and easier for most to get) to use HCl, as it will remove most of the base metals and other impurities, but wont touch the gold.

    I just make a fire and put the rocks in that I want to crush the next day. When they get red hot they are roasted and will feel much lighter and more brittle which makes crushing very easy. I should do a video.
