This song breaks me every time I here it. It’s like standing on holy ground. Something inside my heart is changed .
I miss my wife so much. She died last Year and now I’m raising our two children alone .
Something about the line “I will meet you there” always resonates with me.
I really think Thrice should do an unplugged album.. or an acoustic tour .
I'm sorry about what happened. Keep being strong, it will go a long way to your kids. They won't understand it now, but they will in the future. I'd love all all acoustic performance or album.

Dude, I'm a guitarist that is struggling. My hand got slammed in a door both figuratively and literally. I lost my whole family and the woman I love. I find it very hard so many days to just carry on. When I hear songs like this it helps me carry on. Thank you friend.

Crazy to think 15 years ago I was resonating with Deadbolt and now here we are, Thrice still pulling on the old heart strings - albeit in a different way. Music at its best.

The way this song’s energy touches my soul is like i’m melting into the universe... By far the most felt song I’ve ever heard. I’m never the one to respond, but felt like expressing it. Hope everyone loves themselves today. :)
One of the greatest songs ever written
If every person on earth would listen to a bit of Thrice, the world would be a better place. Truly the most underrated band of all time. From the lyricism to the instrumentals, it's all pure gold and probably the only current music I'd consider art.

Anybody else notice this song goes from 5:4 to 2 measures of 4:4 before the chorus and then 3:4 for the chorus, back to 5:4 and 3:4 again for the outro. I was tripping out when learning this one. Most under appreciated band I’ve ever seen. So talented
It actually flows perfectly from the lyrics and what the song wants you to hear and feel.
I'm a Classically trained musician and did not pick up on it at all (and didnt care) until someone, might have been Riley, mentioned it on twitter.
The thing made sense from the first note. You don't have to think about it when you are right there with them.
You don't feel the glass in your hand if you're tasting wine you really like.
Checks out with Thrice. I think Silhouette went from 4/4 to 7/8 and back and finished in 6/8. They're low key more math rock than most math rock

This is the only band I have never been disappointed with. Been listening to them since I was a kid sneaking out the house to see them at chain reaction in SoCal. His voice is a gift from god.

For some reason this song always reminds me of The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis. Anyway, I love when I see a live video of an artist I have been listening to for 15 years or so, haven't heard in awhile, and see that they're just as good as ever .. maybe even better. It's cool what time and experience can do to make a song resonate even more, and take on new and deeper meanings year after year, from the artist's expression of it and as the listener.
I lost both of my grandmothers within 3 months of each. I wasn't particularly close to either one of them, and I didn't cry during the funerals. It wasn't until I heard this song that I broke. I'm not religious, but this song gives me hope that I'll see them again someday, the way that I remember them, healthy and happy. I'll meet you there..... ❤️

I remember I came to this show in London by myself there was no worries and the rest of the world didn’t seem to matter for just one night thanks to thrice it was such an unforgettable night. When thrice always comes to London they always seem to make every night super special in a new individual way, thank you for helping me forget the rest of the world when I need to, and reminding me how to smile thrice

Truly this band is amazing, one of the greatest and Dustin with his lyrics are so captivating where you can always find the perfect song to help comfort you with whatever your feeling. I'm so happy I was able to grow up influenced by this band and still be moved by the sound they create.

Such a great song!! I've been a huge fan of Thrice for like 20 years now but I really love when Dustin and Teppei play Acoustic! Man his J45 sounds great too.. and of course Teppei Advance Jumbo sounds amazing. A good Gibson AJ is probably my favorite Acoustic Guitar.. Out of the many Gibson Acoustics I've owned my Gibson AJ is my main Weapon.. It's the only guitar I play anymore

I've seen them twice of which once recently, and even though they didn't seem the super interactive talkative band on stage the performance was spot on, i kinda enjoyed them just playing their music. You're right, you won't be dissapointed. Thrice is amazing live :)
