Avoid taking a taxi at all cost, as Daikoku PA (or any PA really) is a parking or service area for people to rest on a long drive. You'll encounter difficulty getting out of a highway PA with a taxi. Taxis typically don't venture into these areas, making it impossible to flag one down. Additionally, cab apps won't be of assistance as taxis won't deviate from their routes to the highway PA to pick up passengers. Besides that, good video.
@@z0ro_62 It’s worth it!!! Rent a car and drive there! I have a few videos that can give you more info about renting a car. Check it out on my channel if you have some time!
got a reply from Gaijin Tuned Car Club and they offer membership packages as way to be able to get the full Daikoku experience on board a GTr35. and roam around tokyo for around 4hours! this includes pick up at akihabara area and drop off at your hotel.
As tourists me when i come in taxi at sunday morning means how can return back to tokyo Doese taxi will be there in that place?! Please tell as tourists man how can see jdm car meet without any trouble and safe to see and safe to go🙌
what if i cant rent a car because my international license isnt allowed in japan(indonesian license) how else am i supposed to get there if i dont know anyone
There are a few other ways to get there. You can look up private tours that take you to Daikoku PA. A popular choice is chartering with Liberty Walk GTR's and RWB Porsches. I'm not sure of the name for the specific companies but you can find them with a quick google search. I have some friends that hired the experience and they had a great time.
It's pretty much a parking lot rest stop for truck drivers. There is no payment to participate. You can walk around the parking lot and there are vending machines in the area!
is taking a taxi to and from viable? im trying to go with a group of 6 so we were gonna order 2 taxis each way from yokohama. we were gonna go on a Friday night
Yes, it’s doable. Make sure you research and book a return taxi in advance. It actually might be more fun to rent a car and drive out there for the group. I have another video on how to rent a car in Japan, check it out if you have time!
@@JaysonSantoyo word this will be my 4th time to japan but for most of my friends its their first time, we’re doing a 10 day trip and i was just gonna show them around Tokyo and then yokohama for a day, (ive never been to yokohama). Were going in January, Renting a car sounds cool but idk if its the move for us ill definitely check your video on it! Also a side note do you know any less known wards to hit in Tokyo? We’re gonna hit all the essentials but i have 2 half days open on our itinerary and trying to find some good ways to fill them.
@@dirtcreature3d Right on! That sounds like a fun trip. I actually have 15 Japan videos that would be very useful to ya’ll. Specifically, try to watch the ‘Top 10 things to do in Tokyo for car enthusiasts’ video. It’s going to be an epic trip with all of your planning. I might see you around the area!
Yes! I've done that many times. Don't worry about parking next to normal cars. Just park in any open area. Last time I parked my economy Yaris and a Ferrari F40 parked right next to me!
Hope to go some day. This is very helpful

Do you have to pay to partecipate to it? Or can you walk in and that’s it ?

Do you know if the car meets are everyday? and if so what times are best to head down there ?
Most likely there’s something going on everyday. Weekends are best to go in my opinion.
@@JaysonSantoyo how about Friday night bro?

Renting a car, roll into Daikoku PA and park next to a dope car? Is that ok? Is there a section where I can park with the normal cars? haha

Good to know, ty!
@@kosanmr2 No problem! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! I'll be uploading more Japan content very soon!
This is the question why i'm here haha. I wanted to know where exactly to park in there. I don't wanna park rental next to showcars lol
At what time during the day does it start ?
It honestly just depends! This is the meet up spot for tons of different car clubs.
Is there any charge to get into that PA?
