Also I printed the main painting page out on 8.5 x 11 paper, laminated it and hung it on my art studio wall between my Kanji desk and work desk to inspire me. It looks so beautiful. Thank you again and again.
It will be interesting to see how Hobonichi planning goes for you.. Outstanding work as always Anna and your music choice suited the theme very well. I love all my prints I’ve bought from your shop and would buy this one too if you make it available. I’ll miss your beautiful bullet journaling but look forward to your next stage. 😃 Deb
I'll miss your bullet journal setups, but excited for your hobonichi journey! I myself am switching from a bullet journal into a sterling ink common planner. It just seems more useful and the tomoe river paper is beautiful. I do have an extensive bullet journal collection that I have decided to use as for common-placing instead. Also as junk journals and art journals since I don't want them to go to waste. I hope we will see planner setups from you and more art! I adore your art. Also, this theme is giving me a throwback to your old japanese temple theme! I still have those stickers from when you were annalandeendesigns haha. Those, the hedgehog, the turtle scene, etc. I still have many of your dye cuts and they are still some of my favorites! 🤍
Omg thank you so much! 😍❤️ I can't believe people have been here that long, it honestly makes me so grateful 🥹❤️ The Sterling Ink planners look SO beautiful! I would've probably gone for that, but I need the Japanese holidays in my planner because I always forget about them 🤣😅
Thank you Anna this is absolutely stunning. I have been playing on an app called Zen Color, it's a digital paint by numbers. In the zen section they have such beautiful drawings, and I was thinking I wish I knew how to paint a temple or pagoda and I swear you are psychic because the day after I thought that, you dropped this video. I am so grateful to you for sharing your artistic and creative gifts, and for the wonderful painting tutorials and bujo layouts. I painted my first Koi fish following your last painting tutorial and I am more in love with painting than I have ever been before thanks to you. I hope you have wonderful holidays and take lots of time to relax you deserve it you work super hard. Blessings sent to you and your loved ones and all who love and sustain you. I am also excited to see how you decorate your new planner system so I will definitely keep following. Wishing you infinite success moving forward.
I really love all the paintings you made for this setup. It's such a joy watching you paint. ❤ I'm very interested to see how your plan with me videos will look like next year. I'm not personally very familiar with Hobonichi, but I'm excited to see how it works out for you!
Thank you so much for the kind words! 🥹❤️ I'm planning to explain the whole Hobonichi planner style in the next set up video because I know many of us (including me before) have no idea how it works 🤣
As always Anna your artwork is SO beautiful!! I love to watch you paint!! Thank you for sharing your process with us. I cannot wait for your new content. I am a Hobonichi user. I just started this year and I am completely in love. I do NOT miss a day to write in my Hobonichi. It has become a morning ritual to write. I feel so much more centered when I have that time to myself to write in my Hobonichi. I cannot wait to see how you plan to use your Hobonichi! I wish you the best over the upcoming holidays!❤❤❤
Hi Ana! 🙋🏻♀️❤️✨ I love how you capture the beauty and elegance of the architecture and nature of Japan!!! I also love the cheerful warmth of red shades playing off against the cooler wintery shades of white, gray, black and dark brown. I enjoy your art so much!!! I look forward to seeing how your art develops as you are able to devote more time to it! Thanks for sharing your beautiful art with us!!! 😊 Best wishes for you in using the Hobonichi planning system! 💖 Love, Hugs, Blessings & Sparkles! ❤️🫂🙏🏻💖✨
I too, am excited for you to use Hobonichi! I hope you post some videos about how you’re using it, and any decorations you add in! I enjoy watching you paint😊
Thanks Anna! I discovered your videos fairly recently and they've inspired me quite a lot. I've been structuring my spreads similarly to yours, and for my Nov setup I'm planning to draw birch trees like you demonstrated back in Nov 2018 :) Looking forward to seeing your Hobonichi planner too!
Thank you so much! 😍❤️ I still remember how proud I was of the birch tree theme in 2018, haha 🤣 It's so fun (and slightly nervewracking) to see people still whatching the older videos too! 😄
NGL I’m excited for your hobonichi era! I think it will be really cool to see how you adapt the planner to your needs, especially since I’m also a heavy sticker-scrapbooker so i havent tried it yet aside from the Weeks for specific uses. Most importantly though it needs to be useful and low stress for you
Lovely, as always! Your videos are so relaxing. The next time you work on a December design, I'd love to see how December looks in Japan! I'm in the northern hemisphere so we have the cold and snow, but I'd love to see how the southern hemisphere experiences December/January, etc. :)
Thank you so much! 😍 Japan is actually still in the northern hemisphere, so it's not that different! 😊 I'm from Finland so for me it's much less wintery (I'm always surprised to see some flowers survive the winter months 🤣) but more like late fall. We get autumn foliage around late November to early December here in Osaka 😊
If you don't like doing December Christmas and winter theams. Just do what you want. Maybe family or just nothing. It's OK to give yourself a break. Have a great trip. Remember to have fun.
I hope you will be continuing your reading journal. I would like to buy your picture as an art print, if possible. I was planning to travel to Japan in December but have to cancel it because I need to finish my studies. Having at least a picture of Japan would bring some comfort to me.
I will continue reading journal!! Those are my favorite videos to film 😄❤️ And I totally understand! I will turn it into an art print and release with the new collection (around Black Friday)!
The paintings turned out beautiful. I always struggle with the branches and tree trunks. You made it look so easy. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the new year and the new planning system.
Thank you so much! 🥹❤️ Ahhh it's so difficult. I have struggled with them a lot too. I think the key is angular strokes and as light hand (and thin brush) as possible! 😊

@@JournalAway Yikes! You are right! I need to look at a map more often. (I know why I didn't realize that now. Ha!).
Oh, please keep showing your watercolor work!
Beautiful! ❤ You are so talented! 🎉
I will be following you with your Hobonichi Cousin videos! I'm very curious what it is and how it works!
I'm making the same change this year, moving to a Hobonichi. It will be interesting to see how we both like it.
