Thank you for the video!! Loved hearing all the details, I literally JUST finished ACOWAR and really needed something - a clue, *anything* - on the next books in the series!

I went to another one of her signings tonight, and she said the next book takes place right after ACOWAR!
Her next book is called A Court of Frost and Starlight and it's coming out 2018
There's also Throne of Glass 7 (final book of TOG) coming on Halloween 2018

Chloe Hawley I don't think he should get a mate tbh. Mates were supposed to be rare and Sarah J Maas has kinda thrown them around. It would have more impact if it was love not jump started and leant heavily on the mate bond. It's cool and I love the mate bond but it's getting kinda old fast.

+Jessica Yeah, I get what you mean. It kind of disappointed me in New Moon when it turned out Sam and Emily's relationship was based mainly on the imprinting. I want more soul mate stories where two characters stay together who aren't soul mates - though it honestly looks so far like she might be doing that with Elain and Azriel.

When Sarah said that she wasnt ready to say goodbye.... I was relived.. because I wasnt ready either... I had pre-ordered ACOWAR amd when I got it.. I promised not to finish it before a week atleast... I finished it in 6hrs.. -_-

It is, but I still love it! I have moments where I'm like "omg I can't read this nonsense!" and then the next day I'm looking up fan art....its bad, but it's bad good if that makes sense
Thank goodness it will be a spinoff! Though I love Feysand and not quite ready to say goodbye to them (especially Rhysand), I think ACOWAR ended their lovestory pretty well. So im happy that SJM decided to leave them that way and focus on different characters.

Impossible Loves I still want elucien to be a thing, I like Lucien too much.
I love Lucien and I went into ACoWaR expecting to ship him with Elain but I ended up NOTPing it romantically. I think that neither Lucien or Elain would be happy in this relationship, not to mention that I don't think they're gonna end up together either way, considering all the hints about the mating bond not always picking well. (Not trying to change anyone 's mind though. It's my personal opinion).

okay so the Moriel ship sunk 😭😭 but I'm torn between Lulaine and Elariel 😭😭 like I wanted Mor and Azriel to be together so bad but then she came out and I had to respect that. Azriel and Elaine are slowly becoming a thing but I'm torn cause she's mates with Lucien 😭😭😭 like Wth Sarah I love you and everything but this is just too much 😭😭😭
Kitkat Nan i know what you feeling. I love both Lucien and Azriel so i dont want them to end up alone so im sooooooo torn now who i ship Elain with. I feel so bad because Lucien had withnest his lover die and if he dont ends up with his mate its just so bad... But on the other hand Azriel loved Mor for 500 years and it also is sad if he ends up alone.... arg cant choooooseeee
I'm not into the Elain / Lucien paring at all. And I'm hoping they don't become an item. At one point in ACOWAR Rhys tells Feyre about mating bonds, and how they don't have to 100% definitely happen. But he says the male most of the time in them situations would go around killing any man his female mate wanted to be with. I don't think that was a throw away scene, so I'm hoping Lucien will be the exception to that rule, and accepts that Elain doesn't want to be with him.

Haha, truth! Maybe I'm just Azriel trash so I want him to be the happiest. But when that mating bond happened at the end of ACOMAF I was like uughghghhhh no, was not feeling that from the start. I'm more interested in Luciens family life, his real dad and his brother trying to take over the court

But to be honest the book sends a massage of that ship not sailing so i hope Lucien find someone els. Yes i wanna find out how he react to his real dad and all that stuff! So much unanwserd things! But i dont think we get to read that for a while.... Do you read the Glass throne series?
Nesta!!! Never have I seen a character so steal every scene. Nesta needs her own series I often wondered in the books if like F. made a vow to her dying mother I wondered if too Nesta had made some promise. I mean besides the father and resentment there, there has to be a more underlying reason she is the way she is I don't think we got even a glimpse of who she really is.
I know I'm going to get a lot of hate or flack but I really really really want a Tamlin spinoff. Yes I know blasphemy!!! But yes people I want a Tamilin spinoff. I think it is much needed and I haven't read the last book but I just want to see things from his perspective!

Sammy B I know Ryss and Ferye belong together but i feel like Feyre could have prefent a lot of shit if she just broke up with tha guy. Looking her up was in any way wrong but as far as he knew she was staying with a mind altering lord who could brain wash her so i kinda get why he wanted to get her back expacialy after a break up note with like 3 sentences on it. ( i dont even know if Tamlin knew she could write because she learnd it from Rhys)
I just kind of felt like the last book was a lot about Feyre and Rhys's feelings and we don't really see what Tamlin is feeling. Do we know for sure that he heard her throwing up? like that sort of stuff and I think he was trying to figure out how he was going to save his kingdom too. I just felt like that hate is very one sided because in the "ACOMAF" we only see from Feyre's perspective not Tamlin's and I know that Sarah J. Maas said that the book was originally supposed to be going back and forth between Rhys and Feyre but it's just like I think I need some Tamlin perspective but since the majority of the fandom hates him I'm not sure that it will happen.

*Is Vassa held captive by the Bone Carver's brother? Bc in ACOWAR the Bone Carver's says his brother lives on a lake in the continent. So that's what I think. And if anybody wants to, they could start a ACOWAR fanart channel. I would watch it for days.. Pls. I needs it.*

I really like the theory that Koschei held Vassa and the other firebirds? phoenixes? captive, but there's an inter-world theory I like as well. If you've read ToG, remember the giant fish-monster underneath Black Mountain in HoF? How it said it slithered between worlds yet was still bound to a lake? What if that was Koschei?

Just a few minutes ago I finished this book and I needed closure. So here I am, like Sarah I'm not ready to say goodbye either, truth be told I don't think I'll ever be.
I hope it's about Nesta and cassian the first book! But if it's not I'll still love it no matter what because I'll be seeing the characters I love ❤️ I know tamlin was a jerk but I hope he finds his mate and learns how to do it right this time, I feel like that would be a great book to read and if he does get a mate I hope she stands her ground and is a total badass and takes shit form no one not even tamlin

So like what I NEED to happen in the next books:
* Cassian and Nesta. (Ultimate OT FUCKING P).
* A Elriel and Elucian love triangle. Personally, I am still a big Elucian shipper, because I really believe the mate bond is always endgame. But like the Elriel scenes in ACOWAR were just too fucking cute to ignore. I need Lucien my little baby fox to be happy. And I need Azriel my little baby shadow bat to be happy. They both deserve happiness and Sarah J Mass potentially creating a love triangle between Elriel and Elucian will completely shatter me.
* A Moriel ending - where Mor tells Azriel she is gay, Azriel finally gets too move on and Mor maybe finds herself a new women love interest, where she can truly be herself.
* Oh and a whole book just dedicated to Lucian and the Autumn court, because we are so not finished there. There is still that deal between Eric and the night court to help him take Beron's place as the high lord. And Beron just really needs to fucking die. And Lucien needs to finally meet his true dad. I fucking need a reunion between Hellion and Lucien. THEY BOTH DONT KNOW THE OTHER EXISTS. And this is not okay. I am not okay with this.
* ALso we need to finally get the story on what happened with Jurian, Miryam and Drakon, that storyline is so not finished. We need to know what happened between them in the past and we need to know what happened in the present because like Jurian, Drakon and Miryam had an all out fight in the middle of a fucking battle field because of their unresolved issues.
* AND LASTLY, the mortal queens. What happened to them??? I feel like they will be the major villains in the next book. What will happen with Queen Vassa, the fire bird by day, mortal queen by night, and whoever the fuck she is bound to by her curse. Who is he?? Will he play a big part in the next book? Perhaps as the next major Villain?
LIKE I need THESE stories TO HAPPEN SO MUCH.

I can’t explain why but what we really need is an Eris spin off. I have this gut feeling that he’s not a bad guy and there’s a lot more to his story than our Queen Sarah has already written

i think that the spinoffs are going to be about cassian and nesta thats for sure because she developed them a LOT in the last 2 books i think we'll have a book about elain azriel and lucien and mor (you know the whole mating bond thing and the obvious connection between elain and azriel) and probably a prequel about myriam and drakon

I just want the cross over to be on starfall, and rhys's theory of there being 1 star at some point is right and Aelin is the only one for about an hour. Then I just want there to be another, and another until it slowly becomes the most amount of stars/spirits on starfall so that Aelin can say that she quite literally rattled the stars.
