- Dance contest finals at Generations Hall during the Ultimate Lindy Hop Showdown in New Orleans, danced to live music by the Meschiya Lake and The Little Big Horns.
Dancers in order of appearance: Daniel Newsome & Gabriella Cook, Nick Williams & Sharon Davis, Chance Bushman & Giselle Anguizola, Nathan Bugh & Evita Arce, Bobby Bonsey & Delilah Williams.

Such great dancing, all different but all good, I also love the lady singer on stage, her voice is so haunting in a really enjoyable way.
The amazing Meschiya Lake is the singer, when in New Orleans she is a "must see". Lots of great music by her on youtube and her recorded material is a wonderful addition to the collection of any music lover.
@@dfb1111 Thank you so much for pointing this out, we live in the UK but we have been to New Orleans on holiday several times. We think New Orleans is the best place in the world for amazing music. KBON(Eunice)and KRVS(Lafayette) both stream for free and play a variety of La. styles such as Cajun, Zydeco, Blues, Country and Swap Pop. The “Hub City” of Lafayette is worth the trip to fully appreciate the musical diversity of Louisiana.
Nathan & Evita won- it's written at the end of the video, at the 7:12 mark. And yes, they were all so good! Even better seen live... feeling the energy of the dancers, the musicians and the crowd converging together in this beautiful moment.

The lady in the first video looks a lot like Audrey Tatou to me. That made the rest of the video hard to watch because I was just imagining Amelie doing the slow drag

i liked sharon and nick the best because they are the only ones being sensual not sexual, which is for me one of the main differences between slow dance and blues. and i think it's so funny how evita simply can't keep her energy in check... little flubber :D
