I don’t think it was _forgotten,_ per say; it was made very clear in the last stretch of New Vestroia that the power of Trap Bakugan was being outpaced far too quickly by everything around them in the form of Hexados and Hylash getting absolutely obliterated. Most likely, the Brawlers didn’t want to put their Traps into situations they’d likely be killed in.
I loved the fact that most bakugan traps we saw were said to be revived ancient bakugan. Fun fact i learned is that volts mechanic trap bakugan carlvelt was actually the japanese name and his english name was apparently hexstar according the wiki atleast.
Man those bakugan traps are extremely badass to the max and u know what can be cool if the no-nets bakugan get their own bakugan traps to even the playing field.
I highly doubt anyone would take the time to revive a bakugan trap from each attribute to give to a bunch of bakugan that were on death row to begin with

@originalbakugan7671 I believe Wired and Shadow wing are both normal bakugan that are summoned like traps, because trap bakugan main gimmick is that they aren't spheres.
It's a shame that the Bakugan Traps didn't stick around after New Vestroia. I still love them even today - hell, I have 4 Bakugan Traps at home - and I feel that they could have still been useful in Gundalian Invaders and Mechtanium Surge.
You's ever wonder about the creation of bakugan traps? Like I know their are mechanical ones but what about the real ones like Hylash, Scorpius etc. Were they converted? Is it like a side evolution?

I would have liked the battles in new vestroia to be like the original series because then the bakugan traps could have had some special function. Like for example that you could only carry one in addition to the three normal bakugan and they could be put in at any time of the game (even in the middle of a battle) and that they had some unique effect each one, but to compensate they had few G's. As if they were a card that you have to know how to use carefully to get out of complicated situations. Because in the end in new vestroia they are nothing more than normal bakugan that can be used at all times and the only thing different is their non-spherical shape
Trap Bakugan were an interesting gimmick, but I blame Dan not really using his Trap Bakugan often enough killed the gimmick. All the good/cool Trap Bakugan were given to the edgy rivals and the comic relief.
For Bakugan version with my own Language, Gus's voice actor was a woman and to be honest it suites him well, huh Same thing for Dan, Ace, Lynk, and Baron Edit: I still wonder how Shun got 2 bakugan traps, and I liked the fact he used them both during the final battle
Are you talking about shadowing? Cause I don’t count that as a bakugan trap. Traps aren’t spherical. Shadowing is like a byproduct of ingrams evolution

One thing I don’t understand when the rest of the Bakugan with the attribute energies like Percival Ingram and Drago we’re all tricked into that trap field why didn’t they summon all their Bakugan traps like let it all out because this is war not a simple battle
