I remember when Boomerang made the transition from a programming block on regular CN to its very own channel, I was real bummed that I couldn’t watch it anymore since it was just out my family’s budget at the time. When we finally got Time Warner cable in 2008, Boomerang was the first channel I tuned in to and I was so pleasantly surprised to see that it was still just how I remembered it with the toy bumpers and everything. At least I had a good couple of years to make up for lost time before that dreaded rebranding.

I wondered if they were ever going to redo the graphics for Boomerang since I had seen it the same my entire life. But sure enough it happened. Now I want the old Boomerang back. Not like I got to watch it very much though because my mom mostly didn’t have premium cable. But seriously though, these graphics came out a year before I was born and didn’t end until I was a teenager. That’s honestly crazy to change.
