I love how chill this series is. Did we need the beacon? No. Did we want to make an overly complicated system? Yes. This is why I love watching your content my lord ❤️
lash has always reminded me of the lets play series of old youtube, i watch a lot of old etho episodes and a lot of them were just little projects like this that were cool and unique but didnt always serve a greater purpose :)
Bello my dearest lord Lashmak of dark and ness. I like the Netherite beacon base; still waiting for Mojang to give beacon extra buffs based on the base material. I love that you spent 5 minutes showing how to build that beacon rainbow clock 🌈 (I am serious, I enjoyed it)
Thank you for the great episode Lord of Darkness! Looking forward to the next one. For Iron's Spells and Spellbooks, check the damage with the staff in your main hand, IIRC the stats don't count/display in the offhand. I would also suggest picking up the spell called Charge and binding it to and easy to press key (You can assign quick cast keys in the options menu). At level 3 it should give you something like 60% speed, 30% Attack Damage and 15% spellpower. Haste is also kinda nice but I feel the extra speed is a little too much. Ball Lightning is also really nice, it's a lightning ball that bounces off walls, kinda redundant if you have Chain Lightning with a short cooldown though. Lastly Thunderstorm is also really, really nice, the only downside is that it has a duration and tends to murder everything around you, so you have to wait until it expires before going back to base otherwise you will have to replace all your mobs. (No, I didn't accidentally murder my drygmy farm, it was calculated I swear)
Minor redstone tip (primarily for vanilla) you can use a written book with 16 pages on a lectern rather than an inventory for providing comparator strength easily. Cranks from supplementaries are still better, but if a modpack lacks a similarly functioning block and is above 1.14, lecterns are the cleanest method.
For the future; lecterns can output a comparator level equal to the page the book inside the lectern is on. It just doesnt have a zero value I believe, because the comparator will always output 1 because it's an inventory with something in it, but you can play around with that. Just in case you need it in the future and dont have a crank.
Not to brag, but an analog to one-hot circuit is very trivial. Basically you do (x && !(x-1)) where x is input signal and x-1 is the same signal but reduced by 1.
Still watching the video but at 3:00 I thought why not use normal pistons to push the color in and out with two pistons facing each other. So for example at time signal 1 you push color green in. On time signal 2 it pushes red in and green out. So you would need two clocks per color and have them being off-set by one.
Then you cannot stack them on top of each other. Since there's always colored glass in the way, the final beam gonna have a mixed color. Unless you make a piston tape with all 16 colors cycling. This is a bit more complicated to do.
@@azlan194 No, you misunderstood my contraption or I worded it poorly. On tick 1 color A gets pushed in and color Z gets pushed out. On tick 2 color B gets pushed in and Color A pushed out. So the tick triggers the left piston aka. pushing a color in but also the right piston that pushes the color out again. So It would look like -> Piston -Glass -Beam -Piston and when it ticks its -> Piston - Empty - (Beam+Glass) - Piston
lash, help me i am struggling to build my base in Monifactory, and have spent 157 days designing the base, but still am unsatisfied with the results, would you give me advice?

After my 12 years of playing MC I still don't know jack about Redstone. So thank you sir Lash for a quick explanation on it. Have a wonderful day!

Day Y of telling Lash Cobbee is the Embodiment of Darkness, and Lash has very beautiful eyes 💜
This playthrough has been really good
Bello lash! Very excited to see you again 🙏

Morning Lash!
Wixies are adorable
bello! me is wondering where meatballcraft is
Bello there Lash, my Lord of Darkness me is late again
YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYYAAYAYYAYAY
You can put the signal of the upper piston into an right clicked comparator leading into the downer pisten it cancels the signal
This is new, lash playing redstone 🤓
You would need to test it but i think you can just use a dispenser to cut things on the cutting board
👍🏽
Woo!

you can literally give yourself nightvision with ars nouveau spell, if i remember correctly try casting glow on yourself
Yeah, but its not 12 minutes.
@@rapaly yes, but i personally prefer not to bother with carrying potions in my inventory
@rapaly but it's an instant cheap spell, you don't have to craft, drink or carry any potion in your inventory.
* creeper noises *
seeing orange and blue makes me want to ask if its @Threefold tribute or not :)
🌚🌝
Hi
lash, help me i am struggling to build my base in Monifactory, and have spent 157 days designing the base, but still am unsatisfied with the results, would you give me advice?
Lash can u fix that dirt path

I miss meatballcraft
I know you mean well, but commenting this helps nothing, he’ll get to it when he feels like it. I doubt you want a repeat of what happened with GTNH
