  • In this video I discuss the seemingly strange absence of Count Dooku in LEGO Star Wars for over a decade now. His disappearance has been well noticed by many fans of LEGO Star Wars and it is time we shed more light on this craziness. I happen to own only the Clone Wars version of this character in LEGO form, and, dear God...

I really hope Count Dooku comes back in 2025. It’s going to be the 20 year anniversary for ROTS and there’s a perfect opportunity for him to appear in one of those sets. A duel on the invisible hand set would be great.

You know that's something I didn't even realize when I first thought of how crazy long it's been since LEGO's last version of him. I think that set idea would be great! Maybe it could be in a similar style to the new Duel on Peridea set and include a fair amount of desirable figs like Anakin, Obi-Wan, COUNT DOOKU, chancellor Palps, and a super battle droid. Nice idea!

@@nikolaiturpin Ty, I think it’d be a very desirable set. I’m surprised they didn’t even make a set including him in 2022, even though it was the 20 year anniversary for AOTC

It's pretty ridiculous it's been 11 years since a proper Count Dooku minifig, sadly I got the ugly clone wars Dooku one. If he isn't in a set next year then i'll fork out the money to get the 2013 one.

OMG I know your pain. I also have the misfortune of staring into those big old eyes with the Clone Wars version. I still appreciate having the figure, but yeah there's nothing that beats that (sadly} most recent 2013 version. If I could help in your endeavor though (I've been thinking of doing this myself), you could just buy the Saruman head by itself off Bricklink or somewhere. The Clone Wars version's torso print is actually pretty accurate (Though simpler). All you would have to do is just replace that ugly head and ridiculous haircut. Thanks for commenting!

I have all of the Dooku's but the 2013 version has a different head cause i wasn't spending $20 on 1 head when i could spend $3 on one that looked cloes enough for me. Afterall, people do change their facial expressions
