I love the 991 911, one of my favorite generations. Detail's always been good with these and their 1/24 is just as impressive as the 1/18's. Got myself the 918 Spyder concept recently. Well worth it.
Excellent Welly. Excellent review. My co-worker has the actual current gen 911 in gold paint. The actual 911 looks huge compared to previous generations, but IMHO it still looks great. Getting this Welly s the cheapest way to have the newest and very decent looking 911 scale model.
Hi, it's me again! I've been filming some unboxing vids however I want a better camera and I'm not sure what camera or viewcam is good. What are u using right now? Most of the viewcams i have are all old ones, and soemhow has lower quality than my phone...
siewyikfong2000 I would recommend using a dedicated camera. I use a sony hx20v. I think the new version is the hx50v. The video quality is amazing and it takes pretty good still shots as well.
Hi, thanks for doing this review. I've been actually eyeing on getting one of these as the Minichamps version seems to have skimped on what would justify the price being charged for it which makes this the model of choice (and I also wanted it in silver anyway). Quick question though: I saw a bunch of holes close to the bottom front of the car... are the screws visible? How easy do you think it is to disassemble? I'm looking into modding the interior of the car to have a 7MT instead of the PDK. I'm still hoping Autoart somehow manages to build this CS as their pre-facelift 997 is perfect!
Hay jmcporsche I will be getting a new 1/18 scale car, but theres two, they are the chevy corvette or dodge viper since, you are good at cars what should I get?
This Welly is awesome! I have this same 911 but from Minichamps, it cost me twice as much and to be honest, I don´t think it´s worth it. It does have some better details like the wheels and brakes or the headlights which look a bit more realistic, but this welly has better details in other areas. Overall I´d say is a better option than the Minichamps, specially for the price. Great review.
I am going to purchase one on Amazon.com for around $60 on Amazon from Model Car World. Still a good price for the quality. At this time I think they are the only company selling it in the US for a decent price. It only comes in orange at this time (more may be to come)
Hey dub nice model. I do prefer the welly for the lower end model just because they do have better detail to there models. That brings me to when will you do a review on the 2015 mustang. I wish welly would had done them instead of maisto. Hopefully Shelby collectable would safe the iconic car from looking so bland. Thanks
Both are excellent, I would say equivalent in their quality. I think the biggest decision would be which version you like better. It's either the 997 racecar for the road, or the everyday driver 911 Carrera S. Both are excellent, which explains why I have both. If I were to get one, I would probably get the GT3 though.
If you want exterior accuracy and quality of detail it is Jada (which is bizzare because all their other models are very poor in this front). BBurago/maisto's has better interior detail and features steering, but the wheels bow out quite a bit and look unrealistic to the real car. I own the Jada version and I like it for what it is.
Awesome. Great review. Welly has really been making a move-up in recent years.
The Model Garage Indeed. I have been consistently impressed.

I LOVE welly it's my fav budget model car brand! I have the DB9 and the quality is exquisite! I'll probably look into this

Wow, that must have been pricey. The new 911 did stretch a bit since the last generation.

hello, can you meesure me the wheels please? I mean the diameter of them. I want to use these wheels for my 1:18 Honda Integra.

Wow nice model brah. Can you share where you get this model from.
Do you know if there are any models of the 991 with a manual transmission?
maxpowers3732 They are tough to find. All the ones I have come across have the PDK.
JMCporsche If you ever come across one please let me know. I'd really like to buy a model of my car with the same transmission

I wish I bought this back then! It’s now £80 in the UK!! ($110)
Great review. I'm thinking of getting their Aventador. Do you know what colors they come in? I haven't been able to find a US seller either. Thanks!

What is the price?
damn u pay around 20-40 for model cars? in Canada, we have to pay 200 dollars for a maisto model car.
Eggward1011 Wow! it might be worth hopping over the border to buy them.
i did that......once
It seems like it's worth the money compared to the minichamps, which is underwhelming, specially for the price it comes with.
So, this or Welly GT3 RS?

check out the new huracan plzzz
Is it plastic or metal?
both
Well, i dont prefer porsches, but this one, is just amazing. Now answer this, jada gtr or maisto gtr
