@xNayru1997 Ghibli is a Japanese film studio. They've made a lot of great animation movies directed most notably by Hayao Miyazaki (including the movie this song is from, called "Spirited Away") and Joe Hisaishi writes most of the music for them. :)
Asian songs are often very poetic, especially ballads. For younger listeners, or people that can't discern the words (if they're a little slurred, etc), subtitles help, a lot. You see it on most Asian shows as well. Though most of my Chinese skills have disapparated away, I remember distinctly that following the subtitles when I was younger watching 'Princess Pearl' (huanjugege) helped quite a bit.
