Hi Aleisha. Hope you enjoyed your cruise. I've done 9 cruises and have another booked for February 2024 on pacific encounter. Can't wait. We are going to the same ports as you did. My favourite port is isle of pines. My last cruise was a family cruise to the islands and Auckland. It was a Christmas cruise. Loved Auckland. Thanks for your vlog. I love it when the weather gets rough.i don't get sea sick. But I do get hangovers. Lol.
Aleisha thank you for putting this together - my daughter and I are heading on a cruise to the pacific islands later this year and it’s been super helpful ❤
Thank you for this and I think this is more aimed at young people as us Oldies are much easier to entertain and we can relax with out a Mobile device to stare at for hours on end. I don't even get the WiFi deal as we go on a Cruise because we want to get away from as much technology as possible. As a young man it would have driven me crazy to sit for an hour straight doing nothing, now I can sit and look at the Ocean going buy on my Patio with a nice drink or two for hours. I also noticed by the time we did our Breakfast there would be something we had to get ready for as would happen after Lunch and Dinner as most entertainment is planed for just after a Meal. I also use the Gym onboard and so that removes an easy two hours from the day and most times I only get an hour as there is something my Wife wants to go and see or do. Then we have the shore days which take up at least half the cruise and they are taken up by activities of Ship, so a quick breakfast and off we go until about 4:30 and then by the time we shower and shave it's Dinner time and a show and a couple drinks then bed. Sure weather can be a toss the dice, fortunately the Wife and I are very lucky as we have gone during the rainy season the Thailand and the Philippines and barely had more than an hour rain the whole 14 days :). These days with Climate change, it's a toss up if what you get told the weather be will is actually what happens, imagine if you went to Hawaii last week and were told before hand that it would be a great time to go, or you decided on China instead. As you get to my age and older you will find that a Cruise can be as hectic and time consuming as you want to make it and if you are feeling young and have a little energy get the Edge unlimited pass, and be looking forward to a rest by the time you have done all the activities :). Also just as an aside, the more money you can afford to throw at these cruises also will change how the cruise will be as a Drinks package or Edge pass or at least one major activity per shore day and you are looking forward to the at Sea days :). The only advantage to being older, we now have the money to do the things we wish we could have done when first married over 46 years ago :)
The shore days were definitely a highlight and depending on the time restraints they give you, I entirely agree! The island we ended up with a lot more time on just so happened to not quite have as much to do. I definitely think cruises my be something I grow to enjoy and appreciate as I get older but as for right now, I want to make the most of the travel that just isn’t possible as you get older :) - but thank you for this comment I love hearing other people’s perspectives! And I’m really glad to hear you enjoy the cruises!
@@aleishabrokenshire I would probably not waste my time on Cruises if I was as young as you are :), a Quick flight to the destination so you can spend the majority of time doing things, sure FLights are a real pain, I don't enjoy them very much, sure first class is ok, just the price doesn't warrant the extra comfort unless you are a Millionaire and even though technically I am a Millionaire, I prefer to relax and enjoy how much money I spend on getting somewhere and no longer being in a Hurry, I get to enjoy the getting there just as much as the being there :)
We never tried, you can order the drinks from the bars and take them too your room tho. You can also take food from the buffet to your rooms and they will remove the glasses and plates from your room for you when they make up the rooms.

I am very suprised that you needed games etc. As thete is so many things to do on the ship. The less you take the better.
if i get the drink package, can i order the drinks to my room?
Crickets.....

Just a note, it’s a ship, not a boat.
going on a 14 day cruise! any advice?
Only to relax and enjoy it!!
SHIP
nice to see that you made so much money from your vegan remix channel to pay for your family vacation. jk.
I’m pretty sure our Mums would really get on with those Numbers!! 😂🍹🍸🧉
