Armed with blistering guitar chops, incisive lyrics and a powerful voice, Grammy Award winner Jason Isbell has emerged as a leading face of the Americana movement - a dynamic blend of traditional roots music and modern rock.
The Jason Isbell Custom Telecaster is visually striking - the Chocolate Sunburst pops against the cream double-binding of the ‘59-style Telecaster Custom body while Fender’s Road Worn® aging process gives it the look and feel of a well-used instrument. The vintage-inspired mid-’60s “C”-shaped maple neck and 21-fret rosewood fingerboard combines with the sparkling, fiery tones of the custom Jason Isbell Telecaster Pickups and the chicken-pickin’ playability of the modified bridge to create a guitar that sounds and plays as a good as it looks.

My siblings and I gave this guitar to our dad on his 75th birthday. The pickups are amazing, and you can’t find a smoother neck. You won’t find a nicer playing guitar!
The neck pick up (7:57). I could literally feel that tone in my ❤.
Man, I cannot believe that is a Blues Junior. I low key hate that amp and have never heard it sound, to me, good. But this has blown my mind.
This is the prettiest Telecaster out. Love the chocolate burst and double binding. I watched a video with a Luthier who showed how easy it was to fret out if you really like big bends due to the 7.25 next radius. That’s the only thing that gives me pause about this guitar. Wish it came with a 9.5 radius.
Yeah a 9.5 would be good. I think somewhere else it was mentioned that the neck is a strat specification. I kind of want one though.
@@jamespell8091 I saw that Fender made an “American Original 60s Tele” a few years ago, which has a burst finish with double binding and a 9.5 radius neck. I now have a new guitar to chase. :) That said, the burst on the American Original isn’t a Chocolate burst and that is my favorite burst that Fender makes.
I bought one and it frets out, I think that bending a minor 3rd would need a pretty high action
That’s some tasty and toneful playing sir!
