Also to be noted in Colmar, is the Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi Museum. Bartholdi is the creator of the Statue of Liberty. The mini-me model of the statue is on display in the museum. @25:46

Thank You! Finally finished in August what I started at Christmas. Merry Christmas, I hope to visit there some day. Both sides of Grandma's families left this area in 1870 because of the war with Prussia. One went to Pennsylvania and the other went to Los Angeles with 60,000 others, so now I'm 50% French. I wonder how many French are Celtic from long ago? Than maybe I'm all Celtic from before there were countries.

I lived near Freiburg, Germany in the 2000s. Thanks for the memories. This was a yearly outing, every weekend at Christmastime.

Oh yeah, it's worth visiting. Colmar and Riquewihr are close. There is a bus from colmar to Riquewihr. I took a bus there and an Uber back.
