I’m a recently realized and diagnosed swiftie and am so excited to watch how Paris went!!! how you describe the experience as religious and cathartic 😁! As a longtime fan of Phish, I used to be convinced that no other show could give me this kind of experience, certainly not a pop diva. Boy was I wrong, Taylor is truly a treasure, and one hell of a storyteller.

little explanation for the airport and the country where you're from : if you're from a country in the European Union (Italy, Spain, Netherland, Belgium, Portugal, Croatia, Greece, ..) or from a country in the Shengan space (Switzerland, Island, Norway, ..) you can moove freely and they don't control you. You just need an ID but not a passeport so the queue is seperated from all the other country.
It's the same idea as your domestic and international but on the scale of Europe because everything is smaller and you are very easily in another country so there are all these agreements.
btw : french people are well known in all Europe to be very rude with everyone so don't take personnaly

The TTPD set is so Epic, the drumline had me speechless. I think performance wise its by far the best of the concert while it might not have my fav songs.
I don't know if she lip syncing or not. Taylor is usually not. BUT it is very common for a lot of artists to record like a live version of the tour performance and then that's what they use on tour so it sounds like it's like live when it is actually pre-recorded. not backing track but actual recording of the artist who record the live rehearsal for example. I read that Beyonce does it too. so it's a lot of A list artists. and that's what they use for all the shows. cause to be honest, I can't see Taylor singing live all of the european leg. it's too many shows. she still has like 49 shows in Europe every week. it has to be a tool on her vocals.
I actually hope this is true because I can’t see how she can be doing this. I keep telling myself it’s years of experience, training and the fact that she really doesn’t push her vocals too far. But just singing so long so often has to be damaging.
I cannot wait to see what the surprise songs are for LONDON. Oh my, this girl is gonna send a message and I can't wait to hear it. I REALLY hope Travis is smart enough to go to ALL of those shows. As she sings So Long, London, looking fire in her revenge outfits she needs her revenge guy there with her. lol
@imscanon Travis has his football season. Why would you say you hope Travis would be "smart enough". Maybe you don't work but Travis has his football season. And Taylor knows and loves that Travis has his own great career. As a matter of fact, Taylor can't go to at least one of Travis games because she has her concert then and no one, least of all Travis fans don't say, they hope Taylor is "smart enough" to go to Travis game then even though it is going to be a game to watch.
Travis has no jealousy and he is not into revenge.

I wasn't thinking anything about him being jealous, just supportive in what could be a cathartic moment for her with a lot of different emotions. 26:54 I know nothing but.. the original 1989 outfit had this slick interior that would twist as she performed. There were a couple of shows where it twisted all the way around and became a “wardrobe malfunction” with the zipper/seam. (According to the “errors tour” videos I’ve seen). What if she switched it out because A) it’s cuter and easier to switch the colors up. B) it’s able to handle the dancing without twisting due to the flared nature. That’s my take. Not very Easter eggy

Reason that Taylor is using La Defence is because Stade St Dennis with a cap of 80K isn’t being used is because of the Olympics. Also, she is using smaller venues in Munich as Bayern Munich FC are a bit questionable over other events in their stadium. Plus FC Barcelona is getting a Renovation so they can’t go to that stadium, that would do 105,000 when finished.
However, my show in Murrayfield has had its capacity expanded from 67k to almost 74k. The pits are mainly to this. I feel sorry for poor Cardiff as they only have one show.
About the lip syncing:
I do not at all think she was. I’ve heard people talk about singers lip syncing to a live track so it sounds more natural, however there are times where you hear her breathe differently or is slightly shaky and it does not seem like she’s doing that. I think for some songs there’s a louder backtrack than others and she might rely on it more. Like shake it off she doesn’t think that whole thing, it’s obvious. But I don’t think she ever lip syncs a full song. It also seemed like she was a little sing this weekend like when she talked and runny nose and stuff so she could’ve been relying on the backtrack and vocalists more than normal.

Yeah Paris doesn’t need or want you, but neither does London, NY or San Francisco. Many, many people live there already and the cities do not NEED tourism, which also hard on the residents. But whatever. Paris is the most beautiful city. ❤ its truly amazing when you get to truly see it/experience it.
It’s not the concert goers responsibility to feel bad about the added traffic. That is the responsibility of your city leaders who invite her into their arenas. The money most be good for infrastructure or taxes because they keep scheduling her in

So jealous ya'll got to enjoy that in Paris. Looked like a helluva show! I'm sitting here cracking up though because at the beginning you were talking about all the drama and things that went wrong, but it all worked out because everyone was so kind and nice then snap to back in the states section and now the French are horrible and rude. lol I'm sitting here picturing the experience a French person who doesn't speak English would have say, in New York, if as many French people showed up in their city as Swifties from America they had in France and the New Yorkers just trying to go about their day having to deal with all these foreigners who don't speak English, all day long at every turn would be apoplectic! I'm sure the French just were over it. Coming across a few foreigners in your day, most people can handle and be nice, but all day long entitled foreigners at every turn is another matter (not to mention all the extra long lines everywhere and extra traffic). lol I can only imagine the level of annoyance to have that many Swifties (in crazy outfits no less) in one place for 4 days out and about in the city while the French are just trying to get a damn coffee and get to work. lol .Some Americans freak the frick out if they hear ONE person speaking a foreign language during their day. lol I think we can give them a break for having to put up with so many of us. I doubt they were prepared for that level of madness descending on their city. haha
I don't think any level of A/C is gonna keep a huge room cool with that many humans in it dancing and hollering. They could have set it to 50 and it would have still been smoking hot in there. lol

I hated Charles de Gaulle when I flew through there. They took my flimsy aluminum carabiner that attached my water bottle to my backpack saying it was a “weapon.” At first the airport worker didn’t want to tell me why they were confiscating it. I switched to German and got the reason out of him (or the reason he made up). I saw a small flicker in his face that he was impressed when I switched languages in the middle of a sentence. But I still didn’t speak French so all I got was “Waffe” (“weapon” in German).

They just don’t like Americans, period! Specially when Americans expect to have the same treatment or services in another country, is just not like that and it is something that needs to be accepted. Ladies just let it go. And at the airport customs they separate EU and non EU countries. Also makes no sense Uber or taxi to the airport when train is available and takes you right to where you need to go. Unless you are taking a huge ass case and too many items on you, maybe for the next trip.
