ofc he cried.. he's still very young and he had LOTS of expectations even before the show started. they even showed how he talked with the CEO who told him that he is fully capable of being ranked 1st on the show. and all of sam's expectations crashed when he didn't get into wanna one... he also got close to all wanna one members and probably wanted to debut with them really bad, but then he didn't :( so I fully understand why did he cry. even I cried and was depressed for couple of days after seeing the live broadcast of the 11th episode... to the point that I don't even find wanna one interesting for me altho there are two of my faves jaehwan and minhyun in wanna one.. :/

True. He already dealt with one disbandment with 1Punch, and the thought of him having to go through that again with Wanna One (no matter how successful they will be) would have probably been really hard for Sam to deal with. This is a good first step to success.

He's a phenomenal dancer, but Park Woojin was better. He had honey vocals, but Kim Jaehwan was outstanding. His visuals were top notch, but Lai Guanlin stole hearts. His stage presence was no joke, but Kang Daniel was mesmerizing. He created waves with his participation, but Park Jihoon was a crowd favourite. He was entertaining, but Ong and Jisung were hilarious. In a program like P101, contestants are constantly compared to one another and if you're not the best at what you do, you get cut. There was also an unsettling air about Samuel. I made my friend watch P101, he's not a KPop fan whatsoever, and when I asked him about what he thought of the show, he said that he didn't like Samuel. He didn't really know why he didn't like Samuel and I think a lot of people have that feeling. I actually started watching P101 because of Samuel, but along the way I just got disinterested. He's super talented in everything he does, but he's not *extremely* good at anything. He's a phenomenal dancer, but Park Woojin was better. He had honey vocals, but Kim Jaehwan was outstanding. His visuals were top notch, but Lai Guanlin stole hearts. His stage presence was no joke, but Kang Daniel was mesmerizing. He created waves with his participation, but Park Jihoon was a crowd favourite. He was entertaining, but Ong and Jisung were hilarious. In a program like P101, contestants are constantly compared to one another and if you're not the best at what you do, you get cut. There was also an unsettling air about Samuel. I made my friend watch P101, he's not a KPop fan whatsoever, and when I asked him about what he thought of the show, he said that he didn't like Samuel. He didn't really know why he didn't like Samuel and I think a lot of people have that feeling. Samuel is so likable on paper, he's nice, he's good looking, he's talented, but there's just something about him that doesn't catch the attention of some people. Someone said this about him on a P101 video in the past and lots of people agreed. I wanted to like Samuel so bad, because he was the baby of PLEDIS and he worked so hard and had so much potential, but the other contestants outshined him
