I got the same dryer as you. Got the same instructions. Only thing that we hate is it's hard to close the door. Thanks for the instructions since the manual does give any. It works like a charm.
I bought the same dryer twice the first one you had to SLAM the door really hard which was unexceptional so the brought another 4 days later and it's much better!
After much research, I purchased this dryer today and used it today for the first time. I do find that the door is difficult to close and open. I don't want to slam it, so I press my knee against the bottom of the door and push the top with my hand. Seems to work, and maybe it will loosen up a bit with use. I hope I will enjoy using this dryer, but I must admit that appliances are just not what they used to be. This new Whirlpool is made of less substantial metal, so it's somewhat noisy. Most appliances now are made overseas. My old Maytag Atlantis was so much more substantial and sturdy, made in the USA over 23 years ago. I sure hated to part with it, but repairs now are so expensive. Thanks for the video!
I just bought the same dryer and I have the same exact problem with the door. I do the same with the knee. Hopefully closing the door gets better with time.
Also had a Maytag Atlantis. Repaired it twice in the last year. It began running hit while not turned on, so we purchased this new whirlpool today. We wanted minimal bells, whistles, buttons and chimes.
Thank you! This helped me answer a question as to why it would periodically stop during the wrinkle shield part of the cycle. We were almost going to return it to the store thinking there was something wrong with it. I even called whirlpool and the customer service rep told me it wasn't supposed to be stopping.
Just bought this dryer, will be delivered in a couple days. What does the end cycle beep sound like? Our current dryer has a loud buzz to signal it’s at the end of the cycle and it’s super annoying.
I do have a question. I know it has to be the “new smell”. But my washer smells like something is burning off too. My dryer no longer does the smell thing. Did your washer smell odd at first? This is my second day of having the pair.
Just bought this dryer. Tested 3 loads to dry. 1st load was small at 50 mins all dried except the hoodie and cotton pants, turned to 20 mins then dried. 2nd load was medium at Auto Dry set at Very dry, dried half the clothes, turned the rest to 40 mins on Timed dry then it dried. 3rd load was heavy, set at Timed dry set all the way to Very dry, dried about half the clothes(light clothes), turned another 30 mins to dry completely. Don’t know how I feel about this dryer for drying purposes but it looks good and it’s quiet with the perfect amount of buzzing when done.
Ooo, the dryer looks just as nice as the washing machine!! So nice you got the matching set!! Testing the dryer with towels was a smart idea. I wouldn't want to ruin my nicer clothes just in case, haha! I'm sorry that Lowe's didn't set this up for you :( I bet that was such a struggle to figure out! That's so nice the dryer has different features to prevent wrinkling and to toss the clothes at the end! The towels looked cozy :))
I use dryer sheets bout 2 or 3 of them and in the washer l use a tide pods and lysol laundry sanitizer to smell my laundry fresh l use a cup of this on this
The hose is vented right outside the wall to a pre existing hole to outside it makes me so mad because I have one from 20 years ago but I keep it vacuumed out😢
Btw- just got my new set tonight! 🥰 Thank you for showing this! I thought you had to set to “very dry” (at the beginning). It’s nice to just TURN it to that feature, and be done. However, I did turn it just a little before “very dry” and decided to go in there and check to see if it was doing ok, this load of towels were dry in less than 20 minutes!!! Wow!!!!! Just sharing 😅

As someone who just got their first place and not use to owning ANYTHING let alone a washer and dryer this helps so much! Thanks!!
You are so welcome!

I have the same dryer, it does not work since day one . . . up to 4 cylces and the load still wet. 😭😭😭
Same!! 🤦🏽♂️
I would call the warranty department.

Can you do a video on how to clean the lint out of it
Hi, Kathy! I use the time dry when I use the dryer.
That's great!
Mine the timer is not moving so it runs continuously...not sure if I am doing something wrong?

Does this have a bulb in the dryer? cant find a placement for it so im guessing there isnt?
It has a heating rod from what i could see in mine.
This model does not have a light bulb inside the dryer. I will miss that.
The automatic dry is accu dry it’s just that accu dry is talking about the sensor and the cycle

You can turn it off if you want!
How long does that load of towels take to dry?
About 30 minutes on high heat

I didn't have the issue with my washer but I had to run my dryer a few times for the burn smell to go away.

Can you dry a full queen comfortable in this dryer?
Yes but it takes me 2 cycles to get it dry

Towels took one for the team 💪🏽
Does it use a start ac power cable?
No. This is a 240 not 120 outlet machine and you have to hire an electrician to hook it up. So add about $400 to the sticker price.
Not working
Thanks for your video very helpful
Glad it was helpful!

I also use the Lysol laundry sanitizer! It is very fresh smelling.
@@KathyMLifestyle Same here
How much they cost?
Careful with the high heat setting. Get 12 wool dryer balls and low heat will do you good.
12 or 2?

Cathy, Lowes refused to install the new flex vent hose!

The Accudry is part ofthe Automatic Dry cycles
Hey thank you so much. I just got a new place and I couldn't find the way to turn it on. Lol
It took me a hot minute to figure it out too 😂

The worst dryer on the market . 5 towels took 2 hours to dry . Unacceptable
On high heat
I put 1 loads for 48 minutes and 1 load for 45 minutes and my 2nd load leave it on my hangers overnight so I can get it on the next day
Oh enjoy your washer and dryer
Thank you ☺️
