The bride is so lucky because her family accepts the fact that she is marrying a white guy. My family on the other hand isn’t that open minded. My cousin(Pakistani) was in a happy relationship with a French guy but she couldn’t marry him because of his ethnicity. In the end she got married to a Pakistani guy but I can see on her face that she’s not 100% happy in her life. I wish my family was more open minded about interracial marriages. My male cousins on the other hand are all married to non-Pakistani women and my family is okay with that. I wish there will be a day when everyone will marry the person they love.
EDIT: My cousin recently got divorced from her Pakistani husband. She’s currently dating a non-Pakistani and she’s much happier now.
I hope that day comes soon

There was nothing representative of the guy’s cultural background.
They may have just chose it that way. I know a Jewish couple that loves doing everything Hindu or Sikh ways. Their preference. But to be in an interracial marriage it takes work and they will be respectful of one another for sure.

I'm an English woman married since 4 years to my Hindu Punjabi other half. To say negatively that there was nothing representative of the man's background here was sad.
The Jewish priest and customs there was blatantly not of the bride's culture. It may have been what they decided as a couple. The bride's entry was more westernised also.
I had a huge Indian marriage and bright red heavily jewelled lengha and I was not made to do so forcefully. Indian culture and marriages are so bright, vibrant and lively.
