Working with Julia and Jason was amazing! they’re both so good at what they do and I learned so much especially from how detailed Julia is. Everything she says and does has a meaning behind it not in a fake deep type of way but she really sees through things that most ppl don’t. at the time of writing this song I was in a new relationship and obviously things didn’t work out in my past relationships and I was really hoping that things didn’t end up the same way they always seem to and I explained that to Julia and Jasen when we had the session and we all wrote about it and this song is what came of that 💕 thank you for all of the love and support & remember sad now doesn’t mean sad forever 🎭

yes! i usually look back on situations and right about them however when we wrote this song I walked into the studio and told them everything that had been happening over the course of that week and we wrote about it. What inspired you to write this song? And can you tell us the what the album means to you?
this song was based off of a situation I was going through at the time being in a new relationship and hoping that it didn’t end the same as they usually do with my career being what it is. The Album it’s called sad now doesn’t mean sad forever, and what that means to me is just because somethings happening right now doesn’t mean it will always be that way and I made this album during the pandemic. so the songs are all over the place, just like my emotions were. Some are sad, Some are really energetic party vibes that you don’t usually hear from me but They were made in a time where I was really sad and lonely and really just wanted to have fun again. some are about past relationships seeing as I had tons of time to think about those some sound like they’re about one thing but they’re really personified internal conflicts that I have with myself. basically I had a really tough time transitioning into Covid seeing as everything took off really fast for me right before it and we had so many things planned to travel the world and tour and do so many amazing things and I saw just a glimpse of what that was going to be like and I had so much fun and was looking forward to so much and then it all stopped in a split second. so everything went from 100 to 0 just like that and it really took a toll on me mentally because usually after things happen like that if someone falls off musically or whatever there’s time to taper down into nothing happening where as in this situation everything was happening constantly which I love because it distracts me from things I don’t wanna deal with personally, and then everything stopped and I was still in the headspace of constantly moving constantly going constantly being inspired to just looking at my walls all day every day, looking at myself in the mirror getting anxious having panic attacks because I didn’t know what I was worth as a human outside of music because I felt like this was what I had to offer the world and that’s it. I know now that that’s not completely true I have other things to offer for the world but even still I feel like music is the most important thing to me in my life and not being able to freely share my gift to the world made me sick. That’s why when this entire album is released and you hear how all over the place the songs are - I hope you can see that the album sounds this way because my headspace was this way it was very one way or the other two extremes because I didn’t feel that I had a sense of connection which usually is what keeps me centered. I hope I explain that well I’m using talk to text so if there’s typos sorry but thank you for all of the love and support & remember sad now doesn’t mean sad forever 🎭
