I have only used the nori. I didn't even know about J.S.'s product until I watched an earlier episode that you made. You will have no issues with the nori. As you said, the two are the same and you can put the saved money a side for the corals! Great vid's (I've seen them all) Thanks for this episode. Now I know there is no difference between the two.

GREAT video. i didn't think there would be much difference. here and there i will spend a little more to get the seaweed with garlic in it...fish go for it more. every dollar counts. i don't use seaweed much since i'm using those rings...they love the rings!

+ROTTER tube Reef Hi Steve! There are some great benefits to garlic and those rings are pretty cool. How's the blue tang doing?

dang, I just bought a fresh pack of Sea Veggies, would have rather gotten the stuff from Wally World... it looks like the product is out of stock atm, do you still get it from Wal-Mart currently?

I use a Nori that is dried. I have been using it for about a year and my Tangs love it. I tried to use the seaweed with garlic and they did not touch it.

I use the Yamamoto sushi party and the tangs devour it, only difference I can tell is the yamamoto is usully drier. I used the more expensive Omega One Super Veggies previously

Have you ever fed frozen spinach or lettuce? I read about a woman who feed her tangs exclusively lettuce and spinach and they are growing really fast and have lived 8 years on that diet.

I've never tried it. I personally stick with nori as its a very natural food for them. Its an interesting idea. Steve at Rotter Tube Reef feeds bock choy to his tangs.

Hey I got a bag of nori that contains nori only but it has 10mg of sodium. I tasted it and it’s salty. Is this normal?

Does one hold together better than the other, after putting it in the water?

You forgot a detail: the Nori have a warming caution in the back of the package: It have been treated with a chemical product who cause cancer… Not the Julian Sprung's product.

I suspect that is because the Yammamoto product is produced for human consumption and therefore required to post the warning. Sea Veggies is pet food with no such requirement.

    Hi:
Feeding with J. Sprung's or any other aquarium product is a complete nonsense.
I am using Nori from combined store for the last 5 years. It should be rosted - company is not important.
It is the same stuff, just a wasting of money.
The same is applicable to: any dosing Ca, Mg, Alc. Any product from aquarium industry
is just basic chemistry - that can be both from combined store. The same with LEDs, etc.
    Thanks for info;
    ;)

About garlic. Please buy it from the store and make your own stuff.
Any garlic on the market is simply pure water ;). Just read the label. It is yet another nonsense created by
the aquarium industry. Simply wasting .....
    ;)
