sounds great! however if you do a full system with the stock tune, your fueling will be pretty bad, might even smell gas for a while after stopping. just fyi, had that issue with mine. you'll still get popping after the tune tho
It doesn’t pop after I get it tuned with Bren fuel ratio is perfect or at least on my last s1000 it was, only time I really heard it pop was 1 big loud pop after a pull but that’s just unburnt fuel
@@s1krocket oh gotcha. I got mine tuned by a local shop on the dyno. BT just has a preloaded tune that doesn't adjust for your bike which is probably why
@naterater2330 mine was a dyno tune from them when I had my 2020 s1k
New BMW use wide band O2 sensors and adjust fueling on it's own. Tuning on these is more for removing the factory restrictions.
@@S1KDAY Yes it has that feature, but it doesn't function as intended when replacing the exhaust. Tuning is for both. Fueling is absolutely affected when removing the cat.

That’s so clean man but on Saturday I went to Bert’s mega mall and I kid you not I saw a guy with a S1krr with I think he says Austin racing exhaust and holy cow man. That thing was the loudest cleanest most aggressive sound I’ve ever heard. It scared me lol. Then hen he took off it sounded so deep and loud .

$1000+ I don’t really remember the exact amount but they swapped exhaust on my old bike to my new bike, 600 mile service and put some miscellaneous parts on, the exhaust swap was the most expensive part

Mine still popped any time I let go of the gas even after the brentune. Only on race pro tho. When it was on either rain or dynamic it wouldn’t.
It pops but it doesn’t pop the same at least with my tune, I noticed it does a single hard pop after pull on deceleration
It’s funny you got yours at MAX, I’m buying a new one from MAX BMW in Troy. I’m extremely excited, Although dreading the 600 mile break in lol.

No haha when the bike is locked from factory you’re limited to 124mph and 9,000 RPM, when they unlock the bike after the first service they put their factory “tune” in the bike so you have access to the “full” power even tho you don’t

Do you need to get a tune if you get a full system? Will the bike be fine without it?
For BMWs you don’t need a tune because the bike has technology to adjust but for other bikes it’s all depends, tho I always do recommend tuning regardless

I just got the bike unlocked and wasn’t able to adjust when the shift light comes on I was too excited to ride 😂 it was annoying me the whole time tho

Well think of it .. if you put your bike on a dyno and you let in run it technically building miles so you can most probably rack up a lot more miles in one day then having to go out and drive soo much to het the first 500.. as you said yourself your dead tired because of it 😊
