Oh wow!! Thanks for sharing! Been waiting fir something like this. Cause it was my understanding that u couldn’t add milk or cream to an Americano. Thanks.
I was looking for a video like this on how to make an Americano + white coffees with my de longhi Latissima plus machine. Great description throughout the video. Good work, thank you. 👍
You could, but personally find that too strong for a Americano style. If i did 2 x Lungo Capsules, for a Americano style, i would recommend adding 2 shots of water with it.
I've been trying to find great recipes for long blacks and Americanos since I first got my Nespresso machine. I have found that your recipes are the best. Thanks. I can now enjoy those coffees first thing in the morning-every morning, and all through the day.
Well done: After watching some of these videos I started utilizing other pour methods and enjoy my Nespresso Citiz more than ever. Up to now I was excited about the the Americano style pour for daily coffee as an option to what Nesspro suggests. Thank you for clarifying why we shouldn’t let the water go through an already spent capsule. The idea of burnt coffee is not appealing. Great tip about the Long Black and reducing the crema for daily coffee applications. Going to give that a try. I prefer Ristretto. These videos highlight the variety of options for Nesspresso machines and you have done a great job with this one. You have a very nice setup. Update: Long Black (water first) resulted in 90 percent less crema for me. Rest of Crema disappeared after adding cream and sugar, North American style. Great tips!
Glad the video was helpful 👍 I was after the same info & got talking to a Nespresso Barista and these where the tips he gave me & i thought i would share it. Thanks for watching 😊
I was looking for it to taste more like strong instant coffee. So i been using lungo button then adding extra water with espresso button then stir and adding cold milk and microwave it 30sec. Seem to work. Must be my milk too cold.

You could use lungo and lungo for a longer white

Okay your technique makes sense. I'll give it a try.
Enjoy :D

They seem too cold i added cold milk. Nothing like a kettle coffee.
Its an Ok temperture. But big difference in taste from instant coffee

I would recommend using less milk than an instant coffee, hope this helps.
Good will give that a try thanks.
I had the same issue, but now press the Lungo button without a pod to heat the cup and then make my coffee, temp then rises from 50c to 70c.
It’s ‘espresso’ not ‘expresso’...
Thats what i said right? 😂🤣😅
