Thanks for the analysis, highly appreciated it. I have a bad time fighting Law because of his delayed strings, frame traps and rushdown style. It's easy to say be patient, but when you see your lifebar eaten away constantly, you tend to worry and panicking and careless, exactly the situation any Law player would be happy about.
Really like these videos, even though i play Kazuya, seeing some commentary about changing your strategy ingame is pretty informative. I do have one suggestion, if you record the replay of your games, can you maybe show the frame info for both characters? This might help give more insight into certain frametraps or scenarios like the stonehead break you showed, but then you don't have go into practice mode to show it.

The only other character I’ve been able to pick up is Lars after getting to blue with Reina. I wonder if Mishima Complex will take up the challenge to teach me another stance heavy character 😴
TMM made a video about why Back dashing of any variety has been getting clipped. Its because in tekken 8, the lag is worse than 7 and inputs get eaten more, so it wont register the block wh en back dashing. It happens to me all the time, and this is my first tekken lmao
the one thing the law didn’t do is slide more, i’m in the same rank (raijin) and im surprised how many d2,3’s he’s gone for considering how minus it is on block. there are good frame traps for d2,3 but honestly the move is so risky that it’s hard to get away with.
and i say that because really good laws know how to play mind games with their dss transitions and it seemed like he was just kinda committing before he had time to bait you into something. great match tho!
I saw a couple of WRA D4, 3's. That move seems super risky since it's punishable unless the 4 is a CH. Is that just a hard power crush callout? If so I've been enjoying WRA 1, since after a hellsweep it's 1 frame faster than armor, and the CH is JUICY. (Not that I'll ever hit a PEWGF)
I think it's strength is in it's rarity. It's rarely seen so people don't know there's an extension beyond just HW d4, and it's safer to only throw the first one. However the big kicker is that the second hit is really delayable which will catch people off-guard.

Yeah you shouldn’t do the full string 😂, you can CH confirm the second hit so there’s no reason to let it rip for no reason. Sometimes, particularly at the end of rounds I’ll do the whole string on a read that they’ll block low and try immediately punish 👍
ok so the thing is, you gotta stop thinking about the game as a mix-up between highs/mids and lows. Especially when reina has so bad lows. You need to get into the mindset that mids are the only thing that exists realistically. Highs are for added pressure and lows are for evasion or annoyingly chipping away at overly defensive enemies. Obviously you should mix in some lows and I see you are doing that. But I also see you randomly ducking. There's no reason to ever duck without purpose.
