Great video ....Senator W.A.Clark was my great uncle. He was a ruthless businessman and many despised him for varied reasons. However, he was a prolific philanthropist, giving 10's of millions of dollars to charity and institutions. Among many donations, he gave his vast 17th and 18th century English literature collection to UCLA now curated at the Huntington Library. His collected works of art are housed at the Clark wing of the Corcoran Gallery of Art in D.C. He built the Mary Andrews Clark Memorial Home in 1913 and donated it to the Los Angeles area YWCA to use for young working women. $ can do wonderful things...
That is great, I remember the "Victoria Rooms" was just a way down the street from the Dumas. Us High School Kids from Anaconda would go there with Our allowances plus sell a pint of blood to the Red Cross for $ 5.00. At most all houses in the later 1960s, the going rates were $ 5.00 a straight lay, or $ 7.50 for "Half & Half. Yup😁‼

Love the music!
My uncle Ed Fogerty, worked at the county courthouse, back in the 40's, remember going there with my mom and seeing him at work.
Love the view in the courthouse. Used to make me nervous as a kid to look down
Nicely done. Thank you. Tap 'er lite.
